This was our first trip to Lisbon and a food tour was recommended for any first time visitor. We found the "with locals" website and it gave us numerous options for tours, times and guides. We chose Lili simply because she looked friendly. Lili was prompt at our meeting spot and we began our 3 hour food tour. Lili couldn't have been nicer and her English was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable on Lisbon and Portugal history and gave us a super walking tour through a few neighborhoods. We stopped for some traditional snacks while we continued to learn about Lisbon. We then worked our way to a traditional Portuguese restaurant for a lunch with several varied local dishes. It was the most authentic meal we had while in Lisbon, she actually spent a little extra time with us to show her favorite church. All in all a very enjoyable and informative day. The only recommendation would be to add a few more varied tastings. Thanks Lili.

We really enjoyed our food tour w Angelo. He had a nice way of tying the history of the land to the food. And made it enjoyable at the same time. at the same time he gave us an orientation to the various city neighborhoods and how to get around. I wish we had taken this tour at the beginning of our visit! The tour also included a substantial amount of food and wine. So really good value

this was my first booking ever since i found the app (by accident). i felt i needed somebody non-german to open a new window towards this city to me. when i met anastasia it klicked almost in an instant and i knew the tour would be the fun i needed. the time went down so quickly while we walked the streets where parts of the history of german counterculture have been written. i could have walked with and listen to anastasia‘s stories until the end of the day!

Our group ranged from mid 80's to 50's and Tony tailored our tour to suit everyone. He mixed walking and van transport to ensure it wasn't too taxing, and his stories and facts were told in such an interesting way.we highly recommend Tony.
