this was my first booking ever since i found the app (by accident). i felt i needed somebody non-german to open a new window towards this city to me. when i met anastasia it klicked almost in an instant and i knew the tour would be the fun i needed. the time went down so quickly while we walked the streets where parts of the history of german counterculture have been written. i could have walked with and listen to anastasia‘s stories until the end of the day!

we had a truly great day with Drica doing the cooltural tour of street art and some tapas. It was 100% what we could hope for. Lavapies is an interesting lively neighborhood, lots of streetart and cool places and Drica really knows everything, from artists and back stories to hidden gems like the community garden with street art and some tapas in the charming neighborhood market. A truly wow day for us.

Visiting with Jhoan was such a memorable experience. Beyond the vibrant art, he shared powerful stories about the community’s difficult past and its remarkable transformation. Learning how the people of Comuna 13 turned struggle into resilience and creativity was truly moving. I really appreciated Jhoan’s kindness and the thoughtful conversations along the way - it felt less like a tour and more like spending time with a friend.

Jhoan was a great guide for Comuna 13. He grew up in the Comuna and is very knowledgeable about it's history and Columbia's history in general. This kind of tour is essential for a good experience of this area as you will not learn the meaning behind any of the graffiti and why it is so important if you do it on your own or as part of a big group. We couldn't recommend Jhoan highly enough.
