Great Taipei Experience

Our visit to Taipei was thru a cruise ship which meant limited time onshore and overpriced shore excursions to touristy areas. We wanted to see and experience the “real” Taipei where the locals live and do their daily routine. Judy and David were great! They dove us right into best areas that would have taken us hours to find on our own. Plus the ratio was 2on 2! My wife and I with Judy and David, you can’t beat that for personal service. If you rather be in a group of 25+ people being herded like cattle by a flag waving tour guide then don’t design up for Judy’s tour!

Perfect combi of street photography & food

I had an amazing time on the photography tour with David and Judy in Taipei, which I booked via 'WithLocals'. We hit both a day and night market, and I learned about street photography in a very relaxed atmosphere and enjoyed some of Taipei's best street food. David and Judy were awesome guides. They knew their stuff and were really fun to hang out with. They helped me to take great shots, and we chatted about the markets and their cultural significance, which added a cool layer to my photos. I left the tour with new photography skills and some amazing shots. If you're into photography and want a unique Taipei experience, definitely book a tour with them on 'WithLocals'. I whole hardly recommend it!

Street Photography and a Tour

I had a great time with David and Judy on this tour. David gave great insight on what to look out for, what to do and how to approach street photography. He and Judy were very familiar with the area as they referred to particular locations and people along the way. Additionally, Judy added information about what happened to the area and how things have been and continue to change. I highly recommend this tour!
