Fun time with culture and food expert!

We booked a custom private food tasting tour of Bangkok's Chinatown with Apicha and had an amazing time. Apicha customized the tour to our tastes and provided flexibility as we walked through Chinatown and foods caught our eye. We went to a few different areas and made several stops. We started with a fascinating tea shop where we tried and learned about many kinds of tea. We were treated like VIPs at every spot Apicha took us to. I got to try spicy foods "like the locals eat", and my fiance got to avoid spice while still having a great experience. We got to see spots that are trending with locals and all the food we tried was high-quality and delicious! Having Apicha as a guide gave us access to culture, food, local insights, and laughs we wouldn't have had otherwise. His Chinese and Thai background and experience in the food industry gave him a ton of knowledge that made the food tour especially interesting. I would totally do another food tour with him again. We had a ton of fun and learned a lot. 10/10 highly recommend!!

Even better then expected

We are so happy to have found such a nice, patient and experienced guide in Tuangtip. She always knew the story behind the story 👍. The tour itself was very relaxed and pleasant. We saw a lot that we would never have seen from the road. Our boat driver was very attentive and immediately slowed down as soon as we wanted to take photos. My personal highlight was the artist house. You can easily spend several hours there. The tour is a nice mix of popular sights and lesser known sides of Bangkok. We were able to see and experience a lot during the three-hour tour.

Wonderful!

Tuangtip was really lovely! She was helpful, she checked in with us the day before and had already sent a map with the meeting point and how to get there from our hotel. Just such a beautiful guide and great knowledge. Totally recommend her! As we were a bigger group than usual I do think the price was quite expensive. That’s not the guide pricing it’s Withlocals.

Fabulous Tour with Tuangtip

While in Bangkok we did two tours with Tuangtip and they were both exceptional. First we did the longtail and tuk tuk tour along the canals and around temples. Tuangtip was knowledgeable and informative and shared her love of Bangkok with us. We also did the railway market and floating market day trip. On both trips she went above and beyond what I would have expected from a tour guide. It really felt like a friend was showing us around. On the day trip we started early and she met us with breakfast in hand to eat on the way! She also bought my husband a gift as it was his birthday!! She took photos of us on both tours and sent them via WhatsApp after the tours ended. We couldn't recommend Tuangtip enough. She was absolutely superb and we will always remember her with fondness.
