To the point: Apicha is a super nice guy, interesting stories/conversationalist, knows His food and beverages (gives great recs), and cares about your experience. I just kicked back and relaxed while he showed me around. We ate, drank, and had a few laughs. Time well spent. For context: I have been lucky to travel all over the world. As a US child spending summers abroad with foreign grandparents, as a young person with a backpack, as an expat employee, and more recently as part of my career. So I’ve had almost every type of trip, tour guide, and independent traveler experience to be had. But until last week I had never been to Bangkok. And unfortunately my time was limited until my last evening. That said, I would hire him no matter what type of time / trip I was on (relaxed vacation or rushed) and trust him to manage the vibe. In a few hours we saw some of the city by Tuk Tuk, had some laughs eating bugs with other tourists met along the way, had some amazing food at unexpected places one, and had some more laughs with some local bartenders at a few good spots.
Piyaporn was very knowledgeable about Ayutthaya and explained us a lot about Buddhism. Her tour was very informative and enjoyable.
We had a great time with Araya on our Bangkok street food tour. She did a great job explaining the history of the food, neighborhood, and Bangkok in general. She even went out of her way to make sure we arrived at our post tour destination safely. We would highly recommend Araya as a tour guide.
Araya was an incredible guide! She made us feel welcome and comfortable while still providing professional services. I love the mixture of history, culture, and great food.
