  • Your Day Trip Will be Full of New Discoveries

Bangkok is an enormous city that is used to catering to visitors from around the globe. As such, it is a city in which pretty much anybody can find things to do in Bangkok, no matter how young or old they may be. For the less active among us, day trips in Bangkok can include relaxing cruises along the city’s canals and rivers with a boat tour, while others might include chauffeur driven tours around the city’s best sights. Others might want to get out and go exploring the area’s amazing wildlife, or perhaps spend the day getting to see how other people live their lives. With a local acting as your private bangkok tour guide for your daytrip, you get to see things and do things that others might miss out on.

Bangkok is also a city that is steeped in tradition so you can expect to find day trips that will immerse you in tradition and culture. Gorgeous temples can be found around the city while shows, displays and museums also allow you to get an insight into the traditions and the history of Thailand and its capital. The city outskirts also have much to offer and the modern travel infrastructure makes it easy to get around, notwithstanding the city’s notorious traffic congestion.

  • What is there to see during a day trip?

Buddhist temples make up a large part of Thai culture, and your host can take you on a day trip of some of the most stunning. Wat Arun is one of the most iconic of all and adds to the striking skyline, especially when the sunrise appears to make it glow. The temple of the Emerald Buddha is another famous Bangkok temple, but the city also has many more that are worth a visit.
Ask your guide about the local wildlife and they could take you to the Khao Yai national park, which is thick jungle with a huge variety of amazing creatures calling it home.

Instead, you might want the thrill of touring the jungle riding an off-road motorbike at the popular Kanchanaburi province. Or maybe something more relaxing such as a cruise along the rivers and canals in the beautiful countryside at the city’s edge? There is a huge range of things to see and do, and your host can help to make sure you see the best of whatever interests you in your private Bangkok Day Trip. Rather want to stay in the city? Try a Bangkok tour!

  • What is Included in the Day Trips?

Some day trips will be quite active, and you will generally find that food and drink is included to help keep your energy levels up. Transportation will also be included where necessary and if equipment needs to be hired for the tour, then that should also be included in the cost. You will need to pay yourself for any extras, so check first to be sure what is included and what is not. Ask your host to add anything you wish in your itinerary for your perfect day trip tours in Bangkok.

  • Your Ideal Day Trip from Bangkok

Having your own private tour guide can help you to get so much more from your stay, but it is important to find one that’s right for you. Being able to speak your language is an essential requirement for a tour guide, while it is also important that they can show you the best of what you want to see. Before deciding on which tour guide to use, have a look at their profile and reviews to help you choose the one that is just right for you.

Fun day

Artty was a wonderful guide. He made sure we saw what we asked to do and was very patient with us as one person had a bad knee. He took photos for us all along the way. We would book with Artty again.

Polly is THE BEST!!

Polly was the absolute best tour guide we could have picked for a full day private tour guide experience to Ayutthaya. Here's why: 1) Great communication starting with the booking details and throughout the tour itself. 2) Had all the details sorted out and was very organized, and even brought us snacks and water! 3) Incredible knowledge and passion for sharing Thai culture and history and information about Thai-style Buddhism. 4) SUPER caring and kind - Polly went out of her way to help us with a cell phone issue we encountered (that had nothing to do with the tour) - we can't thank her enough for this <3 She also made sure we were comfortable and customized the private tour experience for us. 5) Took lots of pictures throughout the tour - some of which are my favorites from my whole vacation. 6) Made us feel like we were seeing added cool stuff - some of the little tucked away details and spots not all tour guides bring people to. 7) Provided opportunities for us to respectfully participate in several little activities at the temples. 8) Comfy private car and driver. I assumed we'd just be in a taxi, but we actually had a driver for the day. 9) Prepared with digital maps, illustrations, and photographs to enhance our knowledge as she taught us about aspects of Thai history and culture. 10) Very professional. The day was-well-planned and she was really prepared down the every detail. When I go back to Thailand, I will 100% book another tour with Polly. She gets our highest recommendation - our time with her was one of the highlights of an amazing trip to Thailand.

Great day with Artty!

I booked this your for my family at the request of my dad who was very interested in the history of the bridge. We had a couple members drop out of the tour at the last minute and Artty was unphased and very accommodating. He gave us the option of two museums to visit in Kanchanaburi and recommended we visit the one that was more focused on the history of the bridge and it's construction, which was both fascinating and sobering to learn about. He took us to two viewing spots on the railroad and explained more about it's significance and continued use today. He also took us to lunch at a great local restaurant which both my dad and brother considered to be one of the best meals they had on our trip. I would highly recommend this tour with Artty if you're looking for to escape the hustle of Bangkok for a day and also soak up some local history!
