We had an absolutely fantastic walking food tour with Uthaiwan! My partner and I have very different tastes—and to make things trickier, neither of us eat spicy food—so we weren’t exactly the easiest guests to please. But Uthaiwan handled it all with such patience, grace, and a great sense of humor. She customized the experience effortlessly, introduced us to delicious dishes we wouldn’t have found on our own, and made the entire evening feel like we were out with a local friend. Her warmth and deep knowledge of Thai cuisine and culture truly elevated the experience. Highly, highly recommended!
As a former full time traveller and travel writer, I’ve done a LOT of tours and met many guides. Ae, however, is in another league to most. We booked the tour last minute and yet it was so well organised, catered perfectly to our very difficult group of people (oldest 80, youngest 2!) and was so seamless! The foods were adjusted to our needs, and it was the perfect mix of authentic with still making us feel comfortable. Honestly can’t say enough positive things about Ae and about this tours

We did two tours with Ae. The first one was a food tour around Chiang Mai and we had a ball. Ae is so knowledgeable and personable at the same time. She makes everything fun and we ate so much! The next tour we did with her was a bike ride through the countryside and we actually went through her hometown and because she knew I love coffee so much, she took us to her favorite coffee shop and then we went to the roaster to see how the coffee was roasted. she’s great at tailoring things and finding cool things for one to look at. And she always make sure we have enough to eat and drink! On the bike ride through the country, I was bitten by a dog which is a real fluke and she was quick to take out her first aid kit and put iodine on it and then we all went to the emergency room which was a great experience and she took care of everything. We can’t wait to return to Chiang Mai and when we do we will definitely use her again for any tour.
