We had a wonderful evening with Ann. It was very interesting and we got to learn so many interesting things about Chiang Mai, but also about other parts of Thailand. Ann gave us so many great recommendations and we were able to try so many great new things. We felt very comfortable with Ann and it was a great tour throughout. The next time we are in Chiang Mai we will definitely book another tour with Ann.
We did the private Night Market and Street Food tour with Purichat during our visit to Chiang Mai and it was a truly fascinating introduction to Northern Thai food! We had a larger group of seven people with varying degrees of adventurousness when it came to food and Purichat did a great job balancing all of the food selections taking us to taste more familiar dishes like Pad Thai as well as new dishes like Khanom chin nam ngiao ( a noodle soup made from fermented bean paste and chicken blood). We also had requests from a couple people in the group to do some shopping which she made sure to include in the tour, taking us to a local market to pick up some things and also sample a few Thai snacks. If you have a free evening in Chiang Mai I would highly recommend this tour with Purichat!
Purichat was a fabulous guide teaching us so much about Thailand and its history Her food choices were outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed our time together She was THE BEST
Naphat was very welcoming and attentive. She was easy to adapt to our desires and preferences, while at the same time very attentive to our experience that made her adapt the tour to our taste. She taught us how to enhance every single bite of various Thai dishes just as the locals do. We had a wonderful thorough conversation about the food and the cultural influences on Thai food We visited a couple of night markets and one of them was clearly where only the locals go which made it very special for us.
