Positive Impact in Amsterdam

Hi Ann!! My husband and I didn't really know what to expect when we signed up to take a tour of Amsterdam with Ann, but boy did we have the time of our lives. Ann guided us on our bikes through central Amsterdam to the ferries where we crossed over to Amsterdam North and saw some beautiful gardens and enjoyed hot tea surrounded by gorgeous plants and greenery. After hopping back on the ferry, Ann was happy to answer all of our questions. She was so enthusiastic about her volunteer work and about Amsterdam in general that she made the whole experience one of our favorite parts of our 10 day stay in Amsterdam. I highly recommend signing up for a bike tour with Ann.

Naomi designed a beautiful garden tour. From local neighborhood gardens to an elementary school garden we learned how people are gardening to improve the diversity of the insects and plants that can improve the quality of life for all. Gardens become a safe place for children to gather and learn how to locally produce food and beauty. Thank you Naomi for showing us this side of Amsterdam!

Jaffie was the perfect guide - took us to so many beautiful urban gardens throughout the city which we would have never known about otherwise. So interesting to hear about housing and development in the city. Highly recommended !!

Our Guide, Naomi, was personable, informative and very knowledgeable. We got to see different areas of the city, away from the normal tourist areas, and learned a lot about the local farming and gardening initiatives. We highly recommend this tour and our guide! We look forward to doing it again in a different season to see the changes. Oh, and it was wonderful to bike everywhere, just like the locals!
