The museum is housed in the former home and studio of Dutch Golden Age painter Rembrandt van Rijn. Visitors can see how Rembrandt lived and worked, and view many of his original etchings, paintings, and drawings. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions of other 17th-century Dutch artists.
