Tasting Tour in Istanbul

Benoit was knowledgeable about the non touristy areas we went to, is clearly curious and fascinated with architecture, the local culture, and history. It was fun and relaxing to share a less touristic type of walk around tour of Istanbul. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.

We really enjoyed our experience with Benoit . He managed to keep our boys 8 and 10 engaged and really knows the alternative Istanbul and very accurate and knowledgeable. He also has vast experience of the culinary secrets of the city.

We personalised a tour with Benoit so that we could visit areas with not so many hills to make walking easy on my aged parents, but still with a lot of interesting places to visit. Benoit took us on a walk where we got so much history about areas few travellers would even think about looking in to. A lot of hidden secrets and we saw how modern day Turkish people conduct their day to day lives amongst these converted historical sights which have seen so much life over the centuries. We also went out to the suburbs and visited a street market where Benoit was generous in explaining and letting us sample great local delicacies. Benoit did a great job delivering a unique interesting experience and we could feel his passion and kindness throughout the day. Thanks Benoit.
