Dilek is an amazing guide. She took us to several amazing spots on the Asian side of Istanbul. Dilek accommodated our special requests and also took us to spots to find some unusual foods. We made some spur of the moment stops which she was totally fine with. I can’t recommend Dilek enough. Tasting our way through her neighborhood is exactly the kind of authentic experience we hoped to have.

Kemal and Istanbul - a good match
We had the pleasure of experiencing the 10 tastings tour with Kemal. He was very flexible in the meeting place, which made the tour start on a very good note. We traveled on the subway (2nd oldest I understand in the world) and enjoyed several stops, including coffee of course and quince dessert and wonderful wine stop. He gave excellent advice on shopping along the way itself and made us feel safe the entire tour through the busy streets. Would recommend indeed for future tours...

Tasty Food & Fun Times with Asu
Us (a group of 3) booked a food tour with Asu to get acquainted with local cuisine. All of us are coming from a quiet diverse background and have a basic knowledge on Turkish food and culture.
Asu has a very welcoming personality, which makes it quite easy to communicate. She made sure to introduce us not only to the local cuisine, but also to the Turkish culture of hospitality. Apart from our program she shared other suggestions for visits and new food experiences (including location pins 😁). All of us were extremely full and sated after this tour. Hence, we recommend Asu as a food guide to anyone who’s new, or not-so-new too 😊, to Izmir or Turkish culture in general.
The whole tour was filled with a cozy atmosphere, occasional historical lessons and facts, and obviously a really good food. She did not make us feel as if we are in a hurry or set timeline. My companions even got their fortune readings, which was a first & fun experience.
