We asked Adriano for a custom tour of local neighborhoods instead of the typical tourist spots and he delivered a very special half-day walking tour. We started at the open air market where locals buy vegetables, seafood, and more. We walked by the train station, parks, university and theaters. He explained the historic evolution of the different areas of the city and highlighted different building styles. The best part was all of the local places that we visited where he knew the owners who welcomed us warmly as he explained how the family that owned the bakery actually drove McDonald's out of the countyside. We ate warm focaccia like locals on the go, toured a 100-year-old wine shop where they hid in the cellar during the war, and even visited the local shoemaker. He showed us the spot where he meets friends to listen to music, read a book or enjoy a beer. It was 100% unique and exactly what we hoped it would be. Wonderful tour of how locals live in Bari

We were fortunate to find Adriano. He was responsive. That is a big deal for us. We got the tour we wanted not a packaged presentation. We both had Barese grandparents and so a keen interest in the culture and customs and he was able to add richness to what we had been told. He brought us through the old city and gave us a picture of their way of life. We even got to meet a couple of them. He explained the later growth and showed us the life of the modern city. Not only a great tour, but a foundation for our exploration on our own the next day. Couldn’t Have Been Better

When my husband and I decided on going to Italy, we planned the places we wanted to visit. He then sent me on the quest to find the tours and places to stay. I found With Locals and the tours offered. We could have chosen a number of guides, however, Adriano's eyes smiled with the rest of his face. His welcoming bio told us all we needed to know. When we met him in person, he knew the answers to the questions a religion teacher would ask! He showed us the back allies of the city and introduced us to the food. He even was kind enough to change the meeting place to where we were staying since it was close to the start of where we were most interested in on the tour! St. Nicholas' shrine!! We had one of the best tours recently in Bari w Adriano. You could feel his passion for his city. He did a great job informing us history and what life is like in Bari. He didn’t overwhelm us w historic details as some guides to. He hit the sweet spot. I would highly recommend AdrianoGreat tour in Bari

We had an amazing time on our food tour with Adriano! Every bite was delicious, and it’s clear he’s passionate about what he does. I highly recommend booking this tour for your first or second night in Bari—not only will you enjoy incredible food, but Adriano also guides you through some of the city's charming historical sites and churches. Adriano was great. We spent a couple of hours walking around Bari exploring the little alleyways and meeting some of the locals in the old town. He showed us some local foods and helped us get around. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Adriano the Amazing

Wir hatten einen großartigen Tag mit unserem Tour guide Adriano. Er hat uns viel über die Häuser, die Menschen die dort Leben, die Kultur, das Essen erklärt. Hatten das auch noch eine großartige Verkostung in einem einheimischen Feinkostladen mit Lokalen Lebensmitteln. In kurzer Zeit haben wir einen Überblick über die schöne Stadt bekommen.. Adriano hat das wirklich sehr großartig erklärt.. Es war sehr interessant für uns als Gruppe. Vielen lieben Dank nochmals. Informativ, lokal, witzig, können es nur empfehlen.
