We had a wonderful afternoon with Agnes. She has a wealth of knowledge about the culture and history of Taiwan, taking us to many important cultural and historical landmarks while also showing us some of the hidden gems of Taipei and exploring local foods. Agnes also did a great job customizing the tour to our needs. Many thanks to Agnes! Agnes was great!

My food tour tour this was really amazing. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about Taiwan and Taipei. I learned a lot about the history and the culture and she really tailored the tour of my questions. She had incredibly good follow up. And I had such a good time. I would book a tour with Agnes over and over and over again.Agenes is Amazing

Terrible experience as our guide Agnes did not show up at the meeting point at the designated time from our confirmation. We messaged her with no response and sent an email to With Locals who did respond with a less than sincere standard apology. We were only in Taipei for one night and were to meet her at 5pm for a night tour.
We were then left stranded and had to quickly scramble to figure out things on our own. A terrible experience!
First we had booked another daytime tour with Daphne and within an hour received a cancellation saying the host was no longer available. From our experience it seems With Locals needs to improve their host scheduling, booking and confirmation processes.
I would NOT recommend this platform. I am still waiting on the refund for both the cancelled tour and no show guide tour.Terrible - Guide Agnes No showed For Tour!

We had an amazing time touring Taipei with Agnes! We enjoyed our experience so much that we booked two tours with her on separate days.
