We had one day in Bali after getting off a cruise ship and having a late evening flight, so we booked Agung to show us some of the sights. He picked us up from the dock at 9am and planned a full day of sightseeing for us, which, despite the weather not being the greatest, ended up being an extremely enjoyable day. Agung stayed with us until after 8pm when he dropped us at the airport, going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful day. I highly recommend Agung for your Bali sightseeing.Wonderful day! Agung was an amazing guide.

We had an AMAZING time with Agung. He was incredibly friendly, and though we were running late, he was very accomodating. He showed us to all of the local spots, and explained a lot of history as well! Honestly, it felt less like a tour guide, and more like a new local friend showing us around the city. He taught me gently and kindly. Not only did he explain about coffee, but he also answered all my questions about Indonesian food, clothing, housing, and Buddhism. The day flew by, and I truly had a great time.The time when we drank coffee together was amazing. Next time, I’d like to go around July to experience things I couldn’t this time, like the harvest. We loved our day tour of Bali with Agung. We were staying in Jimbaran, but this tour took us all over the island—including to areas we would not likely have explored on our own. We wanted to combine two of the offered tours (Bali highlights and the coffee tour) as we did not have time for both. Agung was extremely easy to work with and accommodated our requests happily. After a long search, I found Agung on the Withlocals site and, like everyone else, I read through the reviews. As soon as I messaged him, he immediately got in touch with me. He answered all my questions and offered helpful suggestions. On the agreed date and time, Agung arrived at our place with his car. The vehicle was spotlessly clean and smelled great. We’ve been in Bali for about a month and a half, but we’ve never experienced such a journey filled with so much information. The places we visited were Taman Ayun Temple, Ulun Danu Temple, Banyuwana Waterfall, the Fruits and Vegetables Market, and Angsery Hot Spring. Agung didn’t just share details about the places we went; he also spoke about the economy, religion, everyday life, and his personal experiences. We asked countless questions, and he answered each one with great care and detail. Agung is a well-rounded person, full of knowledge, with a passion for travel and a curious mind. I’m certain our paths will cross with Agung again, and when they do, we will be all ears to absorb the wisdom and experiences he has to share.
