Ahmet was great! We were visiting Istanbul for the European Triathlon Championships so didn’t have a lot of time to sightsee. We booked an afternoon tour of Sultanahmet with Ahmet and I’m so glad we did. He was friendly and very informative, bringing each site to life with stories and interesting facts. On our first trip to Istanbul we were looking for a knowledgeable and personable guide who would discuss history , culture and Turkish life including contemporary Turkey. Ahmet exceeded all of our expectations. We felt that we not only learned about the very rich History of Istanbul. We also got to know Ahmet . Even before our tour Ahmet made suggestions for our first day here and after our tour Ahmet sent us follow up Directions for taking the ferries. Despite a delay to our start as we could not find the German fountain! Ahmet was a perfect guide, his knowledge of the history of Istanbul went beyond dates and details but provided relevant information that linked and overlapped. Despite the heat, the time went quickly.Excellent historical detail

My girlfriend and I wanted to see and learn about the great Mosques in Istanbul, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have chosen Ahmet to be our guide! He was on time, spoke perfect English and demonstrated excellent knowledge about the history. Next to that he took the time and also showed us the cistern basilisk! Our family had an amazing morning with Ahmet. He taught us how to navigate the tram system, before giving us an eye-opening tour of the Hagia Sophia and the Hippodrome. Ahmet showed us special nooks in the Hagia Sophia and shared tales of palace intrigue. The buildings come alive with his stories of historical figures. He brought us to archaeological gems hidden in plain sight. He is passionate about Istanbul's cultural heritage and he a true gem.Thanks for an educational and entertaining morning!A True Gem

Ahmet was an excellent guide for our tour of the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. His is incredibly knowledgeable and very entertaining. We were so lucky to be able to get him on a late booking and it really made our tour. He is also great at being by able to navigate away from crowded areas and avoid queues.
