Ahmet was an excellent guide for our tour of the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. His is incredibly knowledgeable and very entertaining. We were so lucky to be able to get him on a late booking and it really made our tour. He is also great at being by able to navigate away from crowded areas and avoid queues. He met us at our hotel, and within the first ten minutes of walking towards public transportation, he had stories to share about the street we were walking in. We had a wonderful time in Istanbul with Ahmet. He showed us around the main city attractions and explained in detail the (many!) historical events that took place over the various places visited (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cisterns, Grand Bazaar, etc.). This was definitely the highlight of our trip and we'd encourage anyone visiting to benefit from Ahmet's lovely personnality, humor, good mood and wealth of knowledge by booking a tour. Perfect day in Istanbul!
