Alessandro was absolutely brilliant! We have travelled quite a bit around Italy and Alessandro's tour was the best by far. We learnt so much about the history of Verona and had the best gelato and pasta! We really enjoyed the tour and our 7 year old had a good time too. I always read these reviews and think "it's a bot, or paid advertising", so let me start by saying I'm neither. Just a traveler from another country trying to have the best experience possible in Italy and Alessandro made that happen. Before even meeting he was extremely helpful in finding locations and restruants in near by cities and helping to navigate certain aspects that may be confusing for a foreigner. For our tour, sadly it was a rainy day, but it didn't stop us. He expertly guided us through the beautiful city of Verona pointing out things that anyone but a local would miss. Sharing stories of his personal past along side historic facts that were awe inspiring. He is truly a man of the people, everywhere we went we bumped into locals he knew and shared a laugh (and even a glass of wine). To put it plainly, we started with the best hot chocolate we've ever had, ended with the best pasta we've ever had and everything between was absolute perfetto!! Thank you again Alessandro, may your days be long and your wine glass always full. Perfetto!!!!

We had a wonderful day with Alessandro. It was an easy tour from the beginning. He picked us up at our hotel (right on time) and off we went into the countryside! He took the time to show us several beautiful spots along the way to Lake Garda. The winery at the end was really lovely. We got to meet the owners and it felt very special. We are on our way to Venice and he sent us some recommendations for that stay as well! It was a wonderful day and I recommend him very highly! Italy wins!!A wonderful day going to the lake

We had such a great visit with Alessandro ! He’s so Knowledgeable, a great day, very interesting and shares a great share of personal knowledge ! The tour went so quickly with a little wine degustation is a typical place ! He’s also very flexible to our wishes and he doesn’t just talk to a rehearsed tour. I would 100% recommend him in the future ! We had our best time with Alessandro !Perfect visit with Alessandro !

This was an excellent tour of Verona with a lot of history! We enjoyed learning about the city. Alessandro introduced us to some excellent pizza, bruschetta, and the amazing La Mattonella!! Also left us with several tips for places to eat!Verona tour

We booked a day trip to Lake Garda and the surrounding area with Alessandro on February 13 25, He was prompt to the hotel and our journey was on. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, it was foggy and drizzly. But Alessandro did his best to keep us entertained. We stopped at several villages and took in the history of the area. We concluded our day trip with a tour of a local Winery, what a great way to finish the day. I would do another tour with Alessandro,he is knowledgeable,courtesy and helpful. I had a last minute oppurtunity to tour Verona and Alex happened to be available. He catered the tour to the flow of questions and time allowance we had. It was a great mix of history, food, and of course he even mixed in some wine. Alex knows his city and wasted no time navigating from one point to another. He even has a few tricks up his sleeve to find access to places that may not be so easily accessible. I had a great time spending the afternoon with Alex and I am sure you will too!Great custom tour

Alessandro was a great guide, with a wealth of knowledge which only comes from someone who grew up here. He showed us unique and historical sites while explaining there cultural significance. The wine and food he recommended was delicious and typical of Verona. He was easy to get along with and his enthusiasm and love for his city was evident. We have been on a lot of tasting tours in various cities. We do it as a way to acclimate ourselves. Alessandro’s tour wasn’t the typical where you eat something, walk a couple blocks, eat something else. He took us out on the town in his city. He showed it to us as a proud son of Verona, imbuing history and coloring it with the personal. We did duck into places to try a nibble here or sit down in one place to try several bites. One eatery he wanted to showcase wasn’t open, but it was okay. He gave us recommendations for the rest of our stay—many of which we tried. His recommendations were spot on. Do yourselves a favor when you come to Verona and book an evening tour with Alessandro. He will set you up for success for the rest of your trip.The best first night in Verona
