Olá! I'm Alexandra, a storyteller inspired by history, culture, art and people.

Over 30 years ago, I moved to Lisbon after spending my childhood in Switzerland.

Exploring different cultures, learning new languages, and traveling opened my eyes to what I truly wanted: a life as a full-time wanderer.

Living in this stunning country and region has made that dream a reality.

Deep knowledge of my region’s history, traditions, and culture is essential to be an excellent host, local expert, or guide. Fortunately, I embody all of these roles. I’m a guide by profession, a local expert by passion, and a host by empathy. Since 2013, I’ve fully committed to this calling, welcoming every traveler as if they were family or close friends.

Understanding that travel is a time for relaxation and discovery, I aim to make our journey enjoyable and engaging. Rather than overwhelming you, I share just the right amount of my knowledge to enrich your experience while immersing you in new cultures and stories.

Alexandra asked us to reschedule a day before our tour saying she was double booked. She wanted to reschedule to the next day but we were leaving Lisbon then. There was no apology or attempt to get a colleague to fill in. She seems wonderful but don’t rely on her being there.A No-Show

This was the first time a tour guide confirmed the night before and never showed up. Very disappointing and rude. There are more reliable platforms to use with better and more professional guides. Never showed up fot the tour!

We had the best day out with Alexandra. She was very open to what we wanted to see and offered wonderful suggestions. We headed to Nazare to see the site of the waves and had beautiful weather. She is extremely knowledgeable about the surfing culture which was interesting. We finished our day at Obidos and spent a couple of hours strolling through the town. She is so laid back and fun, I would highly recommend!!Amazing day exploring with Alexandra!

If you’re going to Lisbon or nearby, don’t miss the opportunity to tour with Alexandra. We had an incredible experience and 10 stars aren’t enough to rate her on this platform. She is a wealth of knowledge about the history of Portugal and the insider spots that only locals know. She was an absolute joy to be with - we only wish we could have spent more time. We loved Alex ❤️❤️❤️Alexandra is amazing!

We wanted to make the most of our time in the Lisbon area so decided to book a day trip to Sintra, Cascais and Cabo da Roca with a private driver/guide and were very happy we did. Alexandra tailored the day to our pace and our interests, always accommodating whatever we wanted to see and do. We saved time, energy and frustration by leaving the driving to her, and didn’t have to deal with traffic or parking issues as she knew exactly where to go. Not only was Alexandra knowledgeable about historical events, but she also gave many insights into current events and daily life in Portugal. We really enjoyed every minute of our day together, as we could sit back, relax and enjoy our limited time in the area. Highly recommended! Amazing day with Alexandra!!

We had a wonderful day trip with Alexandra to Sinatra and Cascais. It was a very easy relaxed trip. She picked us up from our hotel and we went straight to Sinatra. She tried to avoid the crowds. She had a good understanding of the background and history and was lovely to talk to. She picked an amazing lunch spot overlooking the ocean where had very fresh seafood that was wonderful! I cannot express how great Alexandra was to work with for our Sintra Walking Tour. One of our group members was 7 months pregnant, so Alexandra reworked our tour to minimize strenuous walking. Due to the rail strike, we arrived in Sintra later than expected, and Alexandra again rearranged our plan to make sure we were able to experience as much as possible. She is knowledgable, friendly, flexible and was a joy to have in our group. It was a great day, and Sintra was definitely one of our favorites.Simply The Best!

Our day with Alexandra was a blast from start to finish. She picked us up near our hotel and took us to several individual places that we wanted to visit and then dropped us off at our hotel at our final destination. She knew a ton about each of the towns and sites that we visited and gave us really great information and insight into each. Beyond that we enjoyed talking to her about the Portuguese culture, society, food, tourism business, surfing community, and so much more. We would highly recommend having Alexandra be your guide for any Portuguese adventure you are planning to take! Alexandra was a wonderful guide!
