My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour with Alvin. Quite apart from being very friendly and courteous, he is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Singapore. We particularly enjoyed our trip to the top of the OCBC building, where the views are absolutely spectacular. Alvin was also very generous when obtaining our snack from a local hawker centre! He even gave us his umbrella when it rained. We can’t recommend Alvin highly enough 😊. Choose Alvin!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Singapore Discovery Walking Trail with Alvin. We learnt a great deal about Singapore’s past and future and Alvin was a mine of information. We even had time for a great lunch at one of chinatown’s hawker markets, trying some of Singapore’s fabulous specialties.

Alvin was very accommodating as l was on a stop over in Singapore.
His knowledge of Singapore’s history and its present importance in the Asian/Pacific region is to be admired.
Singapore has a fascinating history which needs to be uncovered and Alvin is definitely the guide that l would recommended.

My husband and I were very happy and contented at the end of the tour as Alvin gave us the historical context of the sights we saw and visited. We have been a regular visitor of SG and we've been to the areas frequented by tourist. But Alvin brought us to places we've never been to. It was a complete breath of fresh air so see SG from a different perspective.Different Perspective

Alvin was very punctual and friendly . His knowledge of the local area was excellent. He took us to some amazing places with the highlight being a sky view of Singapore from the top of the Commerce bank. He has a vey generous in nature introducing us to some of the local dishes for us to try and even provided local knowledge to help us to trace a family member. I would highly recommend a tour with Alvin to get to know the true Singapore!An experience to remember

This was our first time in Singapore so booked a walking tour with Alvin. We are so glad we did. Alvin was lovely & met us in our hotel lobby which helped greatly as we had only just arrived & hadn't got to grips with the city. He walked at our pace & nothing was too much trouble for him. We took in a museum, temples & Chinatown where he took us to Hawker Chan (which has been awarded one Michelin Star) for lunch. It was such a varied & fun tour that the time just flew by. We really enjoyed our morning with Alvin who met us at our hotel. He’s a lovely man and gave us a real ‘sense’ of the place. It felt like we fitted in a lot in a short space of time and he made it very easy for us to enjoy the sights. Time well spent!

We were looking for a historical walking tour that allowed us to "see, hear, feel and taste" Singapore from a local's perspective. Alvin's deep knowledge of Singapore's history included interesting stories about its people, food, unique sites, sounds & planning. Alvin was a great guide for us. He met us at our hotel and guided us to the tour starting point. Along the way, he provided us with masks and passes to be used on the MRT. Throughout the trip he took a number of photos of my wife and I to help us remember our visit. The only drawback was at times he was a bit difficult to understand as our ears weren't quite used to the local accent. All in all, he worked very hard to provide us a very positive experience.Very attentive guide
