After a career in the steel industry, I am now a qualified (Ulster University) tour guide whose mission is to orientate, inform and entertain visitors. Very importantly, we will have fun along the way!

Belfast has seen the worst as well as the best of times ... and now is looking forward to the future with hope again in its big welcoming heart.

We (family with kids) had a lovely Sunday morning tour around Belfast with Alwyn. He was friendly, willing to accommodate to our location and very well prepared (with ear pieces for everyone connected to his mic, really helped to overcome the city noises). He clearly loves what he does, and gave insights to the town, country and its people history. Great tour, with nice vibes

What a joy it was to experience Belfast with an enthusiastic and experienced guide. Alwyn walked and talked us through the interesting history of Belfast. His local knowledge and pride were evident in all of the many stories we heard. He was candid and yet very balanced with his perspective about the “troubles”, which was of special interest to us. Alwyn was a fantastic guide during our visit to Belfast. He provided a thorough and insightful history of the city, covering both the Troubles and the surrounding periods with great detail. Despite the heavy subject matter, Alwyn offered a hopeful outlook for the future, which was refreshing. He also showed us some great local sights and recommended excellent drinking spots. Alwyn took us at our word and gave a very personalised time. We did not necessarily want to see the town but wanted to know more about the history- old and recent that has made NI what it is today.
