Our guide was very kind and it was fun to spend time with a local, but unfortunately the tour itself fell short. It lacked a cohesive storyline and felt more like a random fact dump than a guided experience. Her English was limited, which made it harder to follow, and there wasn’t a clear narrative thread tying the tour together. Porto is a gorgeous city and we loved walking around, but I wouldn’t recommend this guide. The tour ended with us asking for a spot to enjoy fried sardines — instead of pointing us to a hidden local gem, she led us to the crowded tourist wharf with mediocre food. We left quickly and luckily found a spectacular place on our own.

Ana was incredibly knowledgeable, interesting and eager to share details about Porto and its history and her life experiences growing up here. Ana is very sweet and friendly… we really enjoyed wandering around Porto with her! She told us about the city’s history and culture, pointed out interesting sights, and showed us beautiful viewpoints. Honestly, it felt like taking a walk with a friend!Enjoyable walking tour with Ana!

It was lovely to meet Ana and spend a few hours with her. She was born and raised in Porto and knows so much of the history. She has also seen many changes and we learned about several of them.
