Ana was a wonderful surprise for us. A wonderful mix of history and local flavor by a Porto native. Lunch was absolutely fantastic at a place we would have never found that has been in Porto over 40 years with same owners, cooks and managers. Stopped by to pick out a place for dinner- Franceshina was fantastic! Loved the stories she could tell from her childhood! By far one of the best guides we’ve ever had in many countries!Pat & Frances

We were so lucky to have Ana as our tour guide! One of the best tours I’ve ever taken. Ana was welcoming and super knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. The time with her flew by. We met Ana as strangers but left as friends. Ana is incredibly knowledge as well as honest and friendly. She really gave us a local's view of Porto with great details and emotion. In future I will always book a similar guide as it really gives you a feel for living in the city you're visting. Ana is extra special 😊Such a great experience!

Our time with Ana was very special and we cannot say enough about the care and attention she gave us. She provided us the opportunity to have input into the tour and then used her knowledge and experience to guide us through areas of Porto important to her and the community. We started as strangers but by the time we parted, it is clear that we are kindred spirits. We wanted an experience where we learned about the people, culture and food from the lens of a local and we had a wonderful day! I was having some back pain and Ana re routed our tour to avoid steep hills while still delivering the full Porto experience. Delicious food, fabulous drinks and fantastic company. What a lovely experience spending the morning with Ana. She was very accommodating and friendly. Ana shared her knowledge and love for Porto and showed us places we would never had known about...including a great list of recommended food to eat and restaurants to try it in!! Absolutely no clock watching from Ana...and we were very grateful for the extra time she spent with us.We found a new friend in Porto

My tour with Ana far exceeded my expectations. I got to learn about the history and changes to tis fluvial city as we walked and peered into shops ad alleyways, talked about the trees and cobblestone designs. I was given insights and told stories that made me feel connected to Porto in a way I had not only a few hours earlier. Ana answered all my questions and paid close attention to my interests, always connecting a vista or museum, an explanation of a local tradition or food, back to my curiosity! Wow! She is a kind and talented guide with a diversity of knowledge that can impress the hungriest minds. You will only want to learn more about this rich city and its culture after you walk with Ana!
