I get my kick out of socialising, live music, inspiring art, meeting new people and exploring uncharted territories. I am into design and architecture, love new technology but also have great respect for our heritage and objects of the past. Being a Pisces, I love going to the waters and I make the best of our many spas. For me Budapest is a perfect-sized city, where you can reach places relatively quickly and easily but there is always something new and unexpected happening somewhere. The river creates a clear divide between the two sides and I can always go to Pest if I'm after the hustle and bustle of the big city or retreat to Buda for greenness, calm and relaxation. I have done a fair bit of travelling and lived in Scotland for nearly 5 years in the early 2000s which gave me a new perspective when returning to my city and taught me seeing Budapest from an outsider's point of view.

We absolutely enjoyed the experience with Andras, he was very knowledgeable and helpful and provided us with lots of information on the country’s and city’s history. Andras was the perfect guide and I would absolutely recommend him. We're a family of four with two sons aged 15 and 20. He was flexible about meeting us at our hotel and adapted the tour to fit in with our schedule. Andras was very relaxed and open answering our questions about life under communist rule and very knowledgeable about Budapest's history and current political situation. We had a great time touring Budapest with Andras. We learned so much about Budapest and saw some of the key sites on the Pest side. It was also helpful to have a tutorial on how to use public transportation in Budapest. He gave us suggestions for how to spend the remainder of our short time here. Andras was wonderful. We met him on our first day in the city and he gave us a perfect orientation. He gave us great tips on how to navigate on our own and how to use the subway to get to other places on our own, and he made great recommendations of places to see and to eat. He was warm and friendly and we throughly enjoyed our time with him. We are very glad we did this tour!Great tour!

Andras’ full day tour was an incredible overview of the city’s history and culture!! We learned so much in such a relatively short period of time. It was the perfect way to spend our quick visit to Budapest. Not only is Andras incredibly knowledgeable about his city, he’s also just a great guy!
