I was born in Lisbon but due professional reasons with one foot in other cities.

I'm a sports psychologist, but in 2010 I crossed paths with tourism and it became a passion.

Lisbon captivates me every day: The unique light, the incredible viewpoints, the fusion of cultures and the vibrant energy. I love its history, local culture and it's people.

Another passion? Food! I'm a true foodie and I believe that the best way to get to know a culture is at a table, tasting authentic dishes and sharing stories.

Angelo was a fantastic guide for our time in Lisbon. He worked with us to create a customized day that combined his Highlights of Lisbon and 10 Tastings of Lisbon itineraries to create an unforgettable day. He was full of knowledge about history, culture, food, and many other things that added to the experience for us and our two teenage kids. Angelo proved to be the perfect local host - a good listener, passionate about passing on his deep knowledge of the real Lisbon’s cultural and culinary treasures, and a true nice guy Into the bargain. His command of Portugal’s complex history was as impressive as his own views of its hidden problems as well as its obvious strengths. To top it all off, his ability to more than hold his own in good English was a delight for all in our party. Highly recommend Angelo to anybody interested in more than the usual tourist tour!10

It was great having Ângelo as our local guide. Even though we signed up for the food tour, it was like having a good friend show us around the city. We learned a lot about Lisbon’s history and had culinary experiences that were authentic, delicious and only known to locals. Ângelo answered all of our questions, and even after the tour he stayed in touch and provided recommendations for the rest of our time in Portugal.More than just food

Our family of 7 (age range from 12-76) arrived for a 2-day stay in Lisbon, and kicked off our visit with a tour fr Angelo. From the start, Angelo was extremely engaging and passionate about the city. He explained the history of Lisbon including the various inhabitants and cultures over the centuries, and how the Nov 1 earthquake nearly destroyed the city and the people’s resilience and determination to rebuild. He was able to accommodate my dad’s mobility limitations and engaged the kids (12 and 15) with anecdotes (including one about Harry Potter) to keep them entertained as well. He provided us with many local recommendations and showed us some secret hidden gems around the city. He truly loves Lisbon and its history!Family tour with Angelo

Ângelo was very helpful before, during, and after our walking tour. He was very flexible and accommodating. His knowledge of the local food scene provided us with a delightful tasting experiences at locally (family) owned venues . Let me first begin by saying that Ângelo and I were in contact immediately after booking and he was accommodating to rebook our tour due to a flight delay. Ângelo was very knowledgeable on Lisbon history and provided images on his iPad. We learned a lot about the history and his insights during our tour. We went to many hidden gems throughout the city which we would have never thought to go to had it not been for this tour. We feel like we have a genuine deeper understanding of the city of Lisbon due to Ângelo. The tour was well worth the price and we highly recommend Ângelo.Delightful and Educational Tour!

One of the highlights of our 10 day trip through Portugal was definitely our food tour through Lisbon with Angelo. I booked the tour for my family of four which included my husband, 18 and 21 year old kids and myself. We met up with Angelo and he provided an overview of the tour and gave us a bit of a Lisbon history lesson to set the stage. All of the food we tasted during 6 stops was delicious and unique. Angelo went above and beyond in seeking out not only the very best of traditional food but he made an effort to support small businesses that focus on local, high quality ingredients. Definitely go hungry. Angelo's knowledge of Portuguese history and the culture was shared in a way that conveyed his passion for his country and also drew us in so that we began to feel the same. He also followed up after the tour with additional recommendations for things to see and do during our trip as well as providing a summary of all the places we explored and the history discussed. You will not be disappointed if you book a tour with Angelo. He is as friendly and thoughtful as he is knowledgeable. Thank you Angelo.
