Antonio arrived at the pick up point earlier than requested and patiently waited for us. He is such an expert in all things Girona. I highly recommmed him to anyone who needs an in depth review and expert on Girona. I was initially uninterested in discovering more but Antonio just started to whet my appetite and he slowly weaved in the culture and moved on to the really unique places in Girona. To the extent, I fell in love with the town eventually. I can totally imagine myself living in. I know I will come back to Girona again and I will surely look for Antonio to bring me to Costa Brava. very well done ! Love Antonio totally

Antonio is truly a gifted tour guide, and I would highly recommend booking with him above anyone else. He felt like part of our family, and we are so grateful for everything he had planned for us. We were traveling as a family with two small children, and I cannot emphasize enough how nice it is not to have to worry about logistics when wrangling children. Not only was everything planned out at a pace we could all keep up with, but every consideration was taken into account. And Antonio is so easy going and informative about the area and history. He showed us places we would not have thought of, and a restaurant we would have never found on our own that was so delicious! Truly a wonderful experience, and I hope to come back and book with him again. Exceptional Guide & Day trip to Montserrat

We booked Antonio for our day trip to Montserrat based on previous reviews, and we were grateful we did. Antonio was very communicative and accommodating. My 82 year old mother was with us and Antonio was incredibly kind, patient, and caring towards her. He was also a wealth of information and spent the hour ride to Montserrat sharing his knowledge of the history of Barcelona and Monserrat. Antonio had our tickets ready and we experienced both the boys choir and the black Madonna in good time. He also walked us through the small museum with more informative videos of the sanctuary and its history. It was a perfect day and Antonio was a big reason for it. We would highly recommend Antonio for any tour he offers, knowing he will be knowledgeable, prompt, and a pleasure to be with. Thank you, Antonio!Wonderful day to a beautiful place

While I had done some research before booking this tour, I knew that a private tour for four was what I needed, but I had no idea what to expect. Antonio was great at communicating by message and was able to setup a tour that had the stops that we were looking for. Pickup went smoothly and was the start to the most memorable day of our entire trip. Antonio’s knowledge was incredible and he was a true expert down to some suggestions as to where we may want to stop for lunch. All three stops we made were all stunning in their own way. Should we ever be back in Barcelona I would make a point to book any tours we wish to see with Antonio. Tour was the best part of our trip by far

Being that this was my family's first time using With Locals and being a young family of four, I wasn't quite sure what to expect but knew what we wanted. We got everything imagined and then some on this trip. Antonio was fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable of Spanish history and the lay of the land. The trip brought us right to the point of what became the highlight of our entire European vacation. Antonio picked us up on time at out apartment and went over a few options and ideas that would work best based on our preference. We wenth through several small towns and stopped for coffee alongside some of the most beautiful fishermen towns. Ate at the loveliest restaurant on the Mediterranean (Antonio made advance reservation). We then proceed to visit some of the most spectacular beaches and overlooks I've ever seen. Peaceful and quiet beaches with the most perfect scenery. Antonio was perfect and the trip was incredible -- highly recommended.Amazing Adventure

Antonio arrived on time and had a clean and reliable vehicle. He is incredibly knowledgeable about Spanish / Catalonian culture and took us to see some incredible towns and beaches. He was able to adjust quickly when we wanted to stay longer at one of the towns and even brought us umbrellas from his vehicle when the rain started. Awesome recommendations for restaurants and great conversation. I’d highly recommend!Perfect way to spend a day

We couldn’t have done this day without him. He organized all the details of the different things we wanted to see and do. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Montserrat and the monastery. Before heading to the wine tasting he took us to a restaurant for lunch that had the most delicious food and an incredible view. He also took the guess work out of choosing which winery in the area to for our wine tasting experience. We had an incredible day and I would highly recommend Antonio as a guide. Antonio is an amazing guide!

Antonio's tour to Monserat was excellent. The vehicle was immaculate, and he is a very safe driver. He was very organized and made sure we had all the right tickets. He knew all the tricks to make sure we made the best use of our time. He provided just enough history/background without going into the weeds. Giving tours is a bit of a side gig, so it was interesting to get his perspective on what's going on in Barcelona and Catalonia.
