P.S. I've got a full-time job so I am open for the weekend only. I open the evening for Chinatown or Thai food tour or Lisa Rockstar MV spot but need to discuss it if you want.

To the point: Apicha is a super nice guy, interesting stories/conversationalist, knows His food and beverages (gives great recs), and cares about your experience. I just kicked back and relaxed while he showed me around. We ate, drank, and had a few laughs. Time well spent. For context: I have been lucky to travel all over the world. As a US child spending summers abroad with foreign grandparents, as a young person with a backpack, as an expat employee, and more recently as part of my career. So I’ve had almost every type of trip, tour guide, and independent traveler experience to be had. But until last week I had never been to Bangkok. And unfortunately my time was limited until my last evening. That said, I would hire him no matter what type of time / trip I was on (relaxed vacation or rushed) and trust him to manage the vibe. In a few hours we saw some of the city by Tuk Tuk, had some laughs eating bugs with other tourists met along the way, had some amazing food at unexpected places one, and had some more laughs with some local bartenders at a few good spots.Great intro to bangkok

Apicha took us on a food tasting tour of the Chinatown market and was an excellent guide! He not only guided us to safe vendors, he also explained a lot about the Thai culture. We finished with a dinner in a very local restaurant which was amazing and definitely not something we could have found on our own. I only wish I had a bigger stomach!!Amazing night!

We booked a custom private food tasting tour of Bangkok's Chinatown with Apicha and had an amazing time. Apicha customized the tour to our tastes and provided flexibility as we walked through Chinatown and foods caught our eye. We went to a few different areas and made several stops. We started with a fascinating tea shop where we tried and learned about many kinds of tea. We were treated like VIPs at every spot Apicha took us to. I got to try spicy foods "like the locals eat", and my fiance got to avoid spice while still having a great experience. We got to see spots that are trending with locals and all the food we tried was high-quality and delicious! Having Apicha as a guide gave us access to culture, food, local insights, and laughs we wouldn't have had otherwise. His Chinese and Thai background and experience in the food industry gave him a ton of knowledge that made the food tour especially interesting. I would totally do another food tour with him again. We had a ton of fun and learned a lot. 10/10 highly recommend!!Fun time with culture and food expert!

Kim (Apicha) really gave us an unforgettable experience in Bangkok! As Thailand lovers, we thought we had seen a lot, but Kim surprised us with unique dishes and hidden gems in the student district of Wang Mai. His knowledge and passion for the city made the tour not only informative but also incredibly fun. We enjoyed the authentic flavors and vibrant atmosphere of the neighborhood. I had a wonderful experience with Kim. He was personable and you could tell he had trusting relationships with the vendors he worked with. The experience was more than just about food but of history and culture. We walked, took the local bus and a tuk-tuk to go enjoy different flavors and drink around the area. Not only did he talk about the history of the foods but also the historical significance of the locations of the vendors. As a single female client, he made me feel safe and welcomed. For a 140 euro food tour you would expect more than one meal. Our guided food tour with Apicha in Chinatown began with him asking our expectations to which I replied some really good food! First stop we had an oyster omelette and sweet and sour fish which were fine to begin our tour with. For the remaining 2 and a half hours we wandered around and were provided with a shrimp ball (we had one he scoffed 2) from a vendor in the market area which was tiny and that is all the food we were provided with. We also had a revolting herbal drink but fine to try and a coconut drink for dessert followed by a tea ceremony which was nice to try. But we were starving and had to go out for food as soon as it finished. I would suggest the food he paid for was around 20 euro! If that wasn’t bad enough we had to hear about ping pong shows and watch him use tinder during our tour incredibly unprofessional. I provided feedback to with locals and were provided with a voucher which although a nice gesture certainly didn’t make up for our woeful experience. I feel totally ripped off and disappointed with wasting valuable travel time!Disappointed Experience

Our guide was 30 minutes late to meet us. While he did take us to several spots and we tried a variety of items, we tried neither mango sticky rice nor pad Thai both of which were mentioned in the description. The guide also swore multiple times and shared inappropriate anecdotes with our teens about visiting the red light district. We rushed from place to place, were hurried around to venues that seemed quite far apart as we traveled by sky train and then 2 tuk-tuks. We learned a bit about food, we tried a variety of items, but the tour was lacking in professionalism and ease. Not as expected.
