We have done a food tour before using With Locals when we were in Rome so chose the same company again when visiting Madrid. Ariadna was the best tour guide we could have hoped for. Really knowledgeable, friendly, relaxed and interesting - my 12 year old son had a fantastic time eating everything! A great mixture of local history and food combined. Would not hesitate in recommending this company to anyone else and definitely book Ari as she is fabulous. An amazing tour with wonderful Ariadna!

Ari was a great personal tour guide to traditional local food and history! We had great conversation about life in Spain and regional foods, which was great given I’m moving to northern Spain this year. Ari is friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Madrid in all of its aspects. We joined her for a food tour, having told her we were looking for "something different", having visited Madrid previously and been on previous food tours. She quickly determined what we wanted and then delivered. This was so much more than a food tour though, as she put many things into a historical context which was very helpful. The overall experience was very much like an interesting conversation along with a pleasant walk, interrupted for food tastings - Perfect. We will be back and hope that Ari will again take us on an engaging tour of some description.Friendly, Engaging and Knowledgeable!

My husband, two daughters and I spent 3 hours with Ari on a ten tasting tour. She was friendly, easy to talk to and had a wealth of information to share with us about Spain and Madrid history. We tried local food that we never would have thought to try if not for Ari's introduction. I would definitely recommend taking a tour with Ari and, if we return to Madrid, we would certainly book another outing with her.Ari was a fantastic host!

We only had one day to explore Madrid and Ari was the perfect person to show us around! She created a custom food/city tour to help us see the best highlights of the city during our limited time. Being from Madrid, she is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about her city and we learned so much! She also incorporated four food incredible food stops during our day so we could experience some of the most famous foods including churros and chocolate and a calamari sandwich - we highly recommend both! Spending the day with Ari felt like spending the day with your friend, and we highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn about the history and food of Madrid! Perfect first day in Madrid!

Ariadna was like an old friend showing Lyn and I a number of her favourite food spots. She was so natural and charming and clearly had terrific relationships with all the places we visited as we got the best service, prime position and superb quality at all the establishments. This despite a busy holiday Saturday too. As an added bonus, Ariadna’s deep Madrid background gave as thoughtful insights to the city, its population and its history, as well as lot’s of tips for our stay Thanks again Ariadna.
