We only had 1 full day in Athens before boarding a cruise ship, so wanted to make the most of it and see as much as possible. We. ‘chose’ Arianna as our guide - from a good selection of local guides - based on Her specialist knowledge of art history. - and also because she has the same name as our daughter ( who coincidentally also studied art history)
Arianna met us at the hotel and we had the most wonderful time with her, we wanted to explore the acropolis first- and her expert knowledge, guidance- and humour made our time in Athens even more memorable than we had hoped for.
We always try to find local guides, wherever we travel to in the world, and Arianna was exceptional.
We would highly recommend Arianna for anyone visiting this beautiful city.

Arianna has a wealth of knowledge about Greek history, she is sharing a lot of information during the tour, perfect for people who want to learn about Greek History. She was also very generous with her time and gave us a comprehensive tour of the Museum after visiting Acropolis. She is very organized and made sure we had everything ready for the tour ahead of time. A lot of information about Greek history!

Arianna was an excellent tour guide who was able to provide a lot of insights we wouldn’t have otherwise known as well as providing a personalized experience. She was able to inform us the best times to arrive and how to beat the crowds as well as many other recommendations for our stay. We took a morning tour of the Acropolis yesterday with Arianna that turned into a really fun and informative cultural experience. Arianna is warm, friendly, and delivers her deep knowledge of Greek history, language and contemporary life with a quick wit. We enjoyed our tour with Arianna and felt like she provided the right background information for our tour, not overwhelming but a great overview. She talked a little fast at times so we needed to have her repeat but not a big deal. She was very willing to accommodate any last minute changes of plans for the Acropolis tour and worked it out just like planned it! Highly recommended.A Fountain of Knowledge

Arianna was wonderful, she took her time explaining all the highlights of the Acropolis, the history and events leading up to every significant building on the site.
What was very important to us was we could pace ourselves as we had brought an 80 year old friend along for the trip of her lifetime, and Arianna was extremely accommodating and we never felt rushed during the tour. She even took time at the end to explain what we would see in the museum whilst we had a coffee. Personalised tour at our pace
