I graduated in Chinese and Egnlish languages and literatures. Lived in Naples for 26 years, one in Tianjin, China and the other one in Leuven, Belgium. Armando was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job sharing insights about the area. His explanations were clear, engaging, and added real depth to the experience. If I had one suggestion, it would be to bring a bit more structure to the tour with clearly defined stops or points of interest. The 10 Tastes of Napoli tour with Armando + it was truly one of the top highlights of our trip! We are a mother + adult son visiting from Northwest Arkansas, USA. We highly recommend booking this experience on your first day in Naples—especially around lunchtime (11 a.m.–2 p.m.). It sets the perfect tone for the rest of your visit. Armando was AhMazing! From the moment we met, his warm personality shone through. We had the best conversations that carried us through the entire tour. He made us feel like we were exploring Naples with a good friend. He answered all of our questions about local culture, neighborhoods, history, food + drinks with insight and humor. The food + drinks he selected were absolutely delicious ! We sampled the best of Naples, things we likely wouldn’t have found on our own. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen + each taste told a story of the city. We both give Armando an A+ ! His communication was outstanding before we even arrived in Italy, while we were there + even afterward. That level of care made the whole experience smooth + enjoyable. Armando gave us an excellent, friendly and highly informative tour of his home city, showing us a the key historical sites with a wealth of knowledge about them, but also by helping us to find great places to eat and drink, sampling street food and most importantly on the first of 18 days help us learn to navigate a complex city of small streets and alley ways. This will help us locate key places to visit in the coming days of our holiday. Napoli is only best explored on foot so would recommend you choose Armando to help you gain that touch of local Knowledge. A relaxing and brilliant start to our holiday and would highly recommend Armando as your guide. Fantastic Introduction to Naples

Our heartfelt thanks to Armando, the 3 hours flew by! He navigated us through the oldest city, we discovered castles, the palace and the very special church (Gesu Nuovo) as well as great coffee and ice cream (Mennella!!!). Armando was very accommodating for any questions, breaks and suggestions, also keeping our kids (13 and 15) interested. He showed and told us honest, critical but also funny stories and places. We had several guides on our trip but the walk with Armando really felt as a walk with a local, or like meeting a friend of a friend. Bedankt!Great for family of 4

Armando was great! He recommended places to eat prior to us meeting him. He took us to the highlights of the city, explaining the reasoning behind the architecture and build. He was very knowledgable and took us through local areas to truly experience life as an Italian in Naples! We had a great time with Armando. He knows a lot about the history of Naples and gave us an extensive insight about how the people live nowadays. We could easily trust ourselves on his guidance, he showed us places and flavours that we would never explore by on our own. We arrived with a baby, Armando was very flexible and could adapt to our daily routine without any problem. We absolutely recommend his guide to anyone who is curious about the authentic Napoli.
