Hi, I'm Arn. I am a born and raised Ghenthian since 1991!

Although I love exploring the world, I always come back to my hometown. For me Ghent is the most beautiful place on earth. A place that is packed with history, but also with life.

I have a masters degree in political sciences and international relations. After years of working in the IT industry, I found a passion for something totally different: telling stories about my city and its citizens.

When I'm not walking around in Ghent, you can often find me on the slopes in the Alps. I love backcountry skiing and mountaineering. I also play (and teach!) improv theatre and comedy. So you can regularly find me on stage as well.

We enjoyed our tour with Arn as he shared all things Ghent with us, including his mother's Flemish stew recipe!! The tour was a good mix of tastings and history at a comfortable pace to really enjoy the surroundings. We highly recommend Arn, who is an original Ghentian (?). LolGreat Ghent Tour!

My family just got back from a spring break trip to Paris and Belgium. Our group included myself, my husband, our two teens ages 15 and 17, and my mom plus her boyfriend, in their 70s. The 6 of us unanimously deemed Arn as our favorite tour guide of the entire trip. (We had private tours of Versailles, the Louvre, Bruges, Ghent, and Brussels). Do not hesitate to select Arn as your guide in Ghent. He was warm, easy-going, knowledgeable, and passionate about his city. He told us fascinating stories and historical facts without it getting boring or long-winded. He also had perfect pacing at each stop we visited. We were all charmed by Arn and Ghent, and based on his tour, we would love to visit Ghent again and spend more time there (we only had the one day). I would rate him higher than 10 if I could!Best tour guide of our trip!

Our tour with Arn was a great experience. My family of five thoroughly enjoyed tasting the local specialties all while gaining insightful knowledge about Ghent and Flanders. Arn delivered a highly personalised tour and was a pleasure to converse with. I highly recommend!Awesome food tour!

We had such an amazing, interesting and fun walking tour with this group. Our tour guide Arn was absolutely fabulous and so knowledgeable about his hometown and beloved city of Gent. My partner and I were traveling in Belgium and Europe together for the first time and this was by far our favorite tour. Would highly recommend and also take Arn's suggestions on where to eat and visit in addition to the tour! Our favorite tour in Europe

We did the tour on a Wednesday with a large group with very many different nationalties and our guide was Arn,a very funny guy with lots of info about Gent with humor.the city is a great place for a short holiday.lots of nice restaurants. Great tour in Gent

Arn our guide was great, we have done quite a few free walking tours around Europe and both my wife and I thought Arn was the best tour guide we have had. The information was well put across, in chronological order and with gents place within Europe through it's history prominent. Really interesting. Brilliant.
