Wow, what an incredibly knowledgeable guide Arunabha is. There are no facets about the red light district that he does not know. We spent a very enjoyable and informative few hours walking the area where we learnt all about it's rich history as well as what life is like there today and what the future may hold. Arunabha provided a vast amount of information on the history of Amsterdam, Netherlands, vis a vis the invasion by Nazis and many perspectives on the resistance. He was knowledgeable about the role of the Dutch Empire and its impact on Indonesia and other former “colonies”. Thanks for a great tour.Informative tour, amazing.

Such an interesting side of Amsterdam to learn about. Arun was very professional and handled the topics of red light District and ”coffeeshops” with grace and practicality. We would probably not have gone through this area on our own but truly appreciated the opportunity to hear about the history and see how things are operating today. Well done Arun! Wonderful tour

Such a good tour with Arunabha. He was so knowledgeable and really made connections with our kids and family by telling us how Amsterdam was linked to our home town of New York. We didn’t know what to expect, especially since this was the first time we have used With Locals. From the beginning Aruna impressed us with his knowledge of Amsterdam. He knew small histories and delighted us with stories that you seldom hear during most tours. Every bite of food and drink came with a story that only added to the deliciousness. We would definitely recommend Aruna for anyone looking for a private tour. Best Private tour ever

Arun was very knowledgeable, answering all of our questions, no matter the subject. We loved the eclectic food choices, combined with the history of how they became popular in Amsterdam. We chose to walk everywhere, but he kindly offered a metro option. I would highly recommend him as a tour guide!Wonderful mix of history and snacks!

This walking tour was one of the best decisions I took when I visited Amsterdam. Arun is not just a super knowledgeable tour guide, he is a great and kind human being too. He explained the history, and the present of every area we covered in a way that made us feel like we know his city so well too, a solid base for the rest of the days we spent there. I would recommend you to take this tour on the day of landing in Amsterdam, that would really be an amazing kickstart to your vacation. It really felt like we got a friend for life, in a new city, after spending few hours with him. In a nutshell, I would say, we had gem of a guide and fabulous experience. Must Do When You Are in Amsterdam.
