We really enjoyed our tour with Awais! He was very knowledgeable about Hiroshima and the history surrounding the catastrophic bombing of the city. He was very clear spoken and answered all of our questions. He was helpful prior to the tour as well!Great guide!

2 adults and 2 kids from Ireland [13 and 11]... we loved this tour. Awais was incredibly knowledgeable and easy to understand. He navigated us through the Peace Memorial Park in just over 3 hours, something we would never have managed on our own in the heat. His commentary kept us engaged and time flew by. This alone was worth the cost of the tour and gave us a better understanding of the event. We don't normally pay for tours opting to self guide instead, however on this occasion, it was well worth it and I would do it all again. We highly recommend Awais and Withlocals.Fantastic tour

I had a wonderful experience touring Hiroshima with Awais. His deep knowledge of the city’s history, especially around the Peace Memorial Park and the aftermath of the atomic bombing, made the visit incredibly meaningful. He explained everything clearly and with great respect and sensitivity. Awais was also very friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the tour. We truly enjoyed our time and learned so much. Awais provided us a good tour and overview of the central Hiroshima experience in the brief window we had available. It really illuminated the concluding events of World War II and the details associated with the bombing of the city. Very important and sobering information.Good tour of Central Hiroshima History

Awais has a love for Hiroshima, the history and the culture. We had a super 3 hour tour, he knows all the little extras, the smaller exhibits that have zero crowds. From these we learned the history and had time to think and reflect. Awais has lunchtime tips too! Great experience, thank you. Awesome day.

We had a great tour with Awais - it was enjoyable and it was evident he had amazing knowledge of the historical areas and events. I couldn’t fault the tour and the information as it was exactly what we were after. The only downside I would mention would be related to the price - value rating and some simple communication errors. When we booked the tour it was advertised as a private guide, upon arriving we were told we needed to wait for another couple joining us. They were a lovely couple and there was no issues with them, however I was a little annoyed with the price we paid and the fact it was advertised as private to have another couple on the tour. Furthermore, we had to organise a baby sitter and we had numerous requests from Awais for time changes beforehand which did add a layer of complexity, Secondly, we did the museum beforehand to ensure we could maximise the site visits, however upon arriving Awais suggested he was going to take us into the museum. This should have been communicated before and did affect the efficiency of the tour. All in all I enjoyed it but did find it slightly expensive. Great tour with informative guide

Awais is a very knowledgeable guide, who was able to show us around Hiroshima at a gentle pace and did not rush even though we had a tight schedule. He was able to point out all the sites of interest and presented facts in a pleasant way. His recommendations for lunch wasnspot on, we probably would have never gone to the restaurant without knowing that they served dishes which are a Hiroshima speciality. All in all it was a great day.
