The whole tour was amazing and I cannot imagine understanding the tragic event by simply walking around. Awais delivered an extremely thorough history of Hiroshima and he took us to some additional sites. It was a very rainy day. So rainy that our original tour guide’s, Nabeel’s, train was delayed. He swiftly communicated and took action, transferring our tour to another local guide, Awais, who had already begun his tour with another guest. Despite these initial challenges, we ended up receiving a very pleasant and comprehensive tour from Awais. He provided an enthusiastic and interesting tour, even keeping our two daughters (11 and 14) engaged for 3 + hours! Thanks Awais! Highly recommend his tour. Quick Pivot, Rainy Day, Excellent Tour

Our family of five from the UK did a three hour walking tour of the Peace Park and Museum in Hiroshima with Awais. He was personable professional and very informative. Having Awais guiding us really added to our experience in Hiroshima. He had all the facts and figures at his fingertips and really helped to contextualise the dropping off the bomb with economic, social and cultural history. A great lunch recommendation too. We really enjoyed our tour with Awais! He was very knowledgeable about Hiroshima and the history surrounding the catastrophic bombing of the city. He was very clear spoken and answered all of our questions. He was helpful prior to the tour as well!Great guide!

2 adults and 2 kids from Ireland [13 and 11]... we loved this tour. Awais was incredibly knowledgeable and easy to understand. He navigated us through the Peace Memorial Park in just over 3 hours, something we would never have managed on our own in the heat. His commentary kept us engaged and time flew by. This alone was worth the cost of the tour and gave us a better understanding of the event. We don't normally pay for tours opting to self guide instead, however on this occasion, it was well worth it and I would do it all again. We highly recommend Awais and Withlocals.Fantastic tour

I had a wonderful experience touring Hiroshima with Awais. His deep knowledge of the city’s history, especially around the Peace Memorial Park and the aftermath of the atomic bombing, made the visit incredibly meaningful. Awais provided us a good tour and overview of the central Hiroshima experience in the brief window we had available. It really illuminated the concluding events of World War II and the details associated with the bombing of the city. Very important and sobering information.Good tour of Central Hiroshima History

Awais has a love for Hiroshima, the history and the culture. We had a super 3 hour tour, he knows all the little extras, the smaller exhibits that have zero crowds. From these we learned the history and had time to think and reflect. Awais has lunchtime tips too! Great experience, thank you. Awesome day.
