We had a brilliant history walking tour with Beatriz! She kept us captivated for 3 hours on a very warm Monday evening, both us parents and our 16 and 13 year olds. She brought a wide range of Madrid's history to life - using different spots around the city as starting points for fascinating insights and vignettes that left us all feeling we understood Madrid and Spain much better. She was particularly brilliant and engaging our teenagers in conversation, and showing the contemporary relevance of what she was telling us. Highly recommend. Brilliantly entertaining Madrid tour

Beatriz is great fun, very informative and loves history. We spent the morning wandering the beautiful old streets of Madrid and she brought the history of the city and its inhabitants to life. I learnt lots I didn’t know and discovered places I would never have come across on my own. I highly recommend Beatriz and her English is excellent.Madrid’s history off the beaten track

Beatriz was wonderful! We booked a tour with her on the first night of our trip in Madrid, and it was an excellent introduction to the city. She was very personable, knowledgable, and engaging. As history nerds, we had a lot of questions for her, and she answered all of them with really interesting insights. I highly recommend doing a tour with Beatriz - it's absolutely worth your time and money.Fantastic experience!

I can’t imagine learning about Madrid any other way. In contrast to the densely-packed tour groups, this was a personal stroll with an expert on Madrid and Spanish history. It was as if we were meeting a life-long friend showing us around a city she justifiably loves. We felt privileged to learn about and visit the most important facts and sites as well as the lesser known. Beatriz made us feel as if we could bask in the city’s beauty and culture without intruding on the city’s authentic life. She is well-versed in the history but also an expert storyteller. Over time, we may forget which Phillip was which Felipé, but we will always remember Beatriz’s warmth. A perfect morning in Madrid

We booked our gems & highlights tour with Beatriz for the afternoon of our first day in Madrid. She was the perfect guide for this jet lagged couple. Her passion for Madrid and its’ history came through during the tour. She dropped us off at a local’s tapas bar that was the perfect meal for our first night in Spain (and not at all expensive).Perfect start to our visit to Madrid

Great couple of hours with Beatriz. Walking dictionary of Spanish history. Love learning about the Islamic component of Spanish culture. She is a better teacher than we are students. Will try to finish all the homework she set - lots more little places to explore in Madrid before we head home.

We were a group of 8 who were interested in learning about the Spanish Civil War. We spent 3 hours with Beatriz on a lovely, sunny afternoon in Ciudad Universitaria. We all agreed she was the perfect guide for us. She was knowledgeable, charming and just so pleasant to be with. I cannot recommend her any more highly to any person with an interest in history, or any other topic she explores. It was unanimous
