Brana

Hi, my name is Brana and I was born and raised in Belgrade.

I have been doing tours in Belgrade since 2011, having introduced local daily life, culture and food, history, architecture, art and music scene, street art and nightlife, to travelers from all around the world. I also enjoy exploring and showing hidden and authentic places around the city whose background and history even few locals know about.

I have seen the city change significantly in the last couple of decades – with unusual and interesting places and subcultures both disappearing and appearing – which is something that I like sharing and comparing on my tours.

Being a traveler myself, I always give my best to experience a place as a true local rather than as just a visitor. I have been first time in Belgrade and Brana did a great overview covering history, architecture, culture, politics, cuisine, local habits, peculiarities, and hidden gems of the city. I would never be able to do this by myself. Brana is an extremely experienced guide and she planed the route thoroughly to ensure impressions flow naturally at the pace I was ready to consume. There aren't enough words to describe our experience with this beautiful, polite and knowledgeable young woman, Brana. She was the best "Withlocals" guide we have had in the different European cities we have visited. Her English is PERFECT and she has patience and a broad knowledge of her country's history. She accompanies all her information with a sense of humor. Brana was kind enough to stay and continue her tour with us much longer than her three hour obligation, so we were able to get a very broad knowledge of the beautiful city of Belgrade. We took a 4 day trip to Belgrade at start of April, with a second day tour with Brana. It was a fabulous experience and a brilliant introduction to Belgrade!
