Well, I'm a very eclectic person! I am graduated in Veterinary Medicine in Brazil but my professional path has been completely different. I have worked for almost ten years in cultural events and social projects, that's why I came to Lisbon, because of my last job and I fell in love with the city.

I am passionate about photography, jazz music, poetry and nature and all related to that. I am a yoga practitioner and I also like doing sports like running and swimming. I love the Portuguese wine and food and I think Lisbon has a magical atmosphere that makes me feel good.

The tour around Lisbon with 9 people was so fun. Not only did we get an amazing history lesson, but we also got useful information about where to go, what to see, food advice and experience spots that the locals partake in. She was upbeat, fun and did a fantastic job! She certainly went above and beyond and if I’m ever back in Lisbon, I would definitely look up this company and her again!Camila

Camilla is a Lisbon local with a deep love for her city’s food, history, and people. She curated an amazing tour through some of the city’s most vibrant areas, taking us off the beaten path to spots we would never have found on our own. Camila had a tough group to work with: a multigenerational group, most of whom had just arrived in Lisbon after an overnight transatlantic flight! But she did an excellent job! In addition to the wonderful food experience, she provided just the right amount of culture, history, and beauty of Lisbon. The communication and meet-up were excellent as well! All 7 of us, ages 14 to 73, thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Delicious introduction to Lisbon food

Camila arrived 30 minutes late at our meeting point and ended the tour after 2 hours 30 minutes instead of 3 hours. My other experiences with Withlocals were better, previous hosts were passionnante by the food and their city which was not the case with Camila. For the price, we were disappointed unfortunately Unfortunatly disapointed ..

We had an amazing tour with Camila. She gave us a local experience we couldn’t have done on our own or with a large tour group. Camila is super knowledgeable about Lisbon and she brought us to some great places to try the local food and drinks. She was super flexible when we had questions and specific requests. We give this tour and Camila a 10 out of 10! Highly recommend and make sure you come hungry!Loved everything about this tour!

Initially, I was scheduled to tour with another host, who I was excited to meet because of his passion and unprompted efforts to tailor the tour to my location and preferences, but he canceled due to an emergency. So, at the last minute, I schedule a tour at 12:30 PM with Camila. Shortly after the booking was confirmed, Camila informed me she was not able to make it and asked for my availability the next day. I informed her that I am leaving Lisbon the next day so I will not have time to complete a tour. Camila was kind enough to accommodate me and suggested we meet at 1:00 PM instead of 12:30 PM. Initially, I declined because this was the third time a host canceled and it was starting to feel … forced (for a lack of better words). Camila, assured me that she was only asking for 30 minutes and I reluctantly agreed to proceed with the experience. I arrived at the meeting location at approximately 12:56 PM and Camila arrived at 1:06 PM. We introduced ourselves, Camila asked where I was from, and without further delay she discussed a brief history of Lisbon. Overall, the food and wine selections were great and I enjoyed each tasting, but I did not enjoy the experience. One reason I did not enjoy the experience was due to a lack of discussion and interaction with Camila. Throughout the experience, I felt like Camila was preoccupied and the tour wasn’t a high priority … as if she had better things to do. This feeling was a result of awkward silences and the host occasionally checking her phone. We had brief moments of interaction and discussion when I would ask the host about herself and attempt to discuss similar interest such as photography, jazz, and yoga to fill the silence. I believe the idiom “I felt like I was pulling teeth” is applicable because when I was not enjoying the tasting, I wonder when the tour would end. Ultimately, I do not believe this solo experience was worth the cost especially since it also ended approximately 20 minutes early at 3:46 PM. I was hesitant to write this review because Camila seemed like a nice person and I assumed she has a life outside of hosting like we all do, but I honestly did not have a good experience and wish I would’ve proceeded with the cancellation and received a full refund. We had a great tasting tour with Camila on the day of our arrival in Portugal. The food and drinks were delicious and Camila explained a lot about the history of Lusbon/Portugal and pointed out which sites we should definitely visit. We had a great time.Great tasting tour
