Carlo is a gem! Our adult family of four toured Pompeii with him, and his warmth and enthusiasm absolutely made our day fantastic. His intricate knowledge of the area, his humor and his passion for the little details made the vast archeological site more interesting and enjoyable. His recommendations for a driver and ideas for a post-tour wine-tasting and luncheon were an unexpected delight. We feel very lucky to have found such a great guide in Carlo!Fantastic Tour!

Carlo was a great guide. Pompeii is huge and you can’t see it all in one day so a guide to pick out the most interesting spots is a great idea. He also gave us suggestions where to after the trout on our own. Carlo had an amazing knowledge of the history and background which made the city come alive. He is a very friendly and helpful guy with a nice sense of humour. Highly recommend him. The perfect tour

Carlo was charming and a brilliant guide. With his knowledge and storytelling he really brought Herculaneum and Pompei alive for us. He was endlessly patient answering our deluge of questions, and his descriptions and metaphors helped explain the architecture, engineering and geological phenomena. It’s just like a lasagne - so many layers! We really enjoyed the day and got so much more out of it than if we had struggled round on our own with an audio guide. Whilst it was an expensive treat, I would say it was very worthwhile having Carlo guide us.Outstanding!

We did a 2 hour tour of Pompeii with Carlo. He keep the kids enthralled with the history of Pompeii and the duration was perfect for their attention span in heat. Must see!Perfect guide for family w teenagers 15-18

Carlo spent a couple of hours with us showing us round a fraction of Pompeii. He is a proud local and this shone through in his enthusiasm. He ensured we saw the important sites and brought to life what life was like in those days. His English was exceptional to the point he was able to add humour to his narrative. My only regret is we could not have spent longer with him in Pompeii. Amazing knowledge and very nice person.

Carlo was the perfect guide for our trip to Pompeii and Herculaneum. Form Pompeii, he knew the answer to every question we had and brought to light everyday life back in the day as well as building techniques snd so much more. Great abbreviated tour. My sister booked 2 hours with Carlo. It is not long enough to cover Pompeii; however, Carlo did a great job pointing out the important aspects of the site.Knowledgeable and passionate

We booked our tour with Carlo at very short notice, and he couldn’t have been more accommodating, offering helpful advice like the best place to park for easy access to the site. In just two hours, we learned so much about Pompeii. Carlo was incredibly engaging, sharing insights you wouldn’t find in a guidebook. We covered all the key sites, and the time flew by - it would have taken us a whole day to navigate the site on our own, and we wouldn't have covered half the sights.
