Carlo gave us a great customized tour of the Vatican City to fit our interests and also the special needs we had with our 5 month old daughter. We visited the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Basilica together. He took care of all our needs, knew quicker passages and his transfer of knowledge was very well structured. Carlo was amazing. He is a brilliant historian. You can tell he loves teaching. But the best was how he checked in with us every so often to see if the walking was too much. He set the pace to meet our capability. Tied for #1 amongst the 8 guides we had during our trip. Passionate and fun

Wow, wow, wow, wow! I am very happy we decided to book with Carlo. I will admit in the beginning I was a bit hesitant (price wise) but I kept going back to the amazing reviews and decided we need to book with Carlo.. and we loved it. Carlo was very informative, attentive, & overall the best guide we've had so far. (We had 3) If it's your first time in Rome please consider guided tours. My fiancé and I both agree there's no way we would have gotten all of the information or the details if they had not been pointed out to us. Carlo also gave us amazing recommendations after the tour which we definitely appreciated. Grazie mille Carlo!! You NEED to book with Carlo!!!

Meeting Carlo was easy and he was on time. His tour of the Coliseum and The Roman Forum were super informative. He has great commend of the history and detail. He was enthusiastic and interactive. We never felt we were being lectured to. He gave us options of what to see, what to explore more of and where to take breaks. We did the Colosseum and surroundings tour with Carlo through Withlocals, and it was an incredible experience. At first, we were unsure if the higher price was worth it, but trust me, it absolutely was. Carlo’s passion for history is contagious. Every location had a story, and he delivered it with such knowledge and enthusiasm that we were hooked from start to finish.
