Carol was awesome to tour with! She was very accommodating for all ages- we had 26 year old up to an older woman in her late 70s. She went a slower speed and made sure we did all the hidden gems. She modified the itinerary by taking a short bus ride instead of making my grandmother walk the whole time. She educated us about the city and Swedish history. 10/10 recommend! Great tour guide! Great experience - even in the heat!

We had a wonderful walk through the downtown area with Carol. She is an enthusiastic and very knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed learning all about the culture and life in Gothenburg and had a great treat along the way! Excellent Walking Tour!

From a thorough understanding of Sweden, its culture, its society and its quirks, Carol can dip into that wealth of information and paint a wonderful mosaic of the many facets of the country and its people. We particularly appreciated her ability to make the mundane, day to day aspects of living in Sweden come to life, and fit into the wider infrastructures of the country. With snippets of her personal and family experience sprinkled into the discussions, we all felt totally involved in learning as much as we possibly could. Carol made it possible to have our time together be a mix of historical places and contemporary dialogue on specific topics of interest to me: schools and education, housing, and Sweden’s mixed history in WWII. I couldn’t have gotten any of this from a canned tour. And as a bonus, we found a great place for dinner! Thank you Carolina, you made a huge difference in our stay.Engaging, fun, educational

It was an absolute pleasure to spend time with Carol, exploring Gothenburg and learning about the culture. Carol was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city and country as well as introducing us to some interesting and delicious Swedish cuisine from salted licorice to amazing fish dishes. Prior to my cruise all I knew About Gothenburg was that it was the second largest city in Sweden and it had a great symphony Orchestra We hired Carol to take us around She was extremely friendly, very knowledgeable not just about her home city but the entire country Her pleasant demeanor and warm approach made our walking tour of the city quite a pleasure I would highly recommend her to anyoneGothenburg with Carol
