Hi, I'm Chris, creator of indelible memories in Sicily. I was born and raised in Sicily a stone's throw from the southern Taormina. Today I live in a small village at the foot of the Etna Volcano where I have created some food and wine tours together with my wife.

I am a licensed tour leader and what I want is to bring authentic experiences to life, just like a local through local people. With my tours in Taormina and in the country where I live and in my home country always in Sicily, I want to give an indelible memory through the five senses.

You will taste the best local food off the usual tourist itineraries, of course only with nice people like me.

My niece and I had the best day on this tour with Barbara and Chris. We were introduced to local food artisans who shared the passion of their crafts with us. They taught us how to buy the bread, the proper way to sample olive oils, showed us how hazelnuts are grown and gathered, immersed us in the making of cheese, the delights of granita, and fed us with the most amazing foods and wines. Chris and Barbara are warm and truly seemed to enjoy showing us the real side of their beloved homelands.This is the real Sicily!

Chris & Barbara gave me my favorite day in Sicily by far! They were so sweet and fun to be with for the day, they are so knowledgeable about the area and passionate about the area they grew up in. I was able to experience authentic food and wine throughout the day, saw beautiful towns and had so much fun with Chris and Barbara! The entire experience was excellent. Chris and Barbara are true professionals and their love of Sicily shows . From the start, they communicated promptly and clearly . The tour was one of our favorite days of our vacation. It was not only interesting but fun! All of the stops of the day were excellent. The farms , vineyard granita , bakery are all hidden gems . The only way to visit Sicily is with Sicilians!! Chris and Barbara are locals who took us off the beaten tourist track and helped us to experience the very best of Sicily. Food, wine, olive oil and granita were in plentiful supply as were stories about the history and legends of this amazing island. We (two couples) had an amazing time with Chris and Barbara on this tour. They promptly picked us up at our airbnb in Taormina and then we set off for an entire day of adventures together. We did so many things- bakery, dairy farm to taste cheese, traditional eastern Sicilian breakfast of granita and brioche, olive farm and tasting, lunch at a winery. We visited beautiful towns and learned interesting things about Sicily. Chris and Barbara were wonderful hosts and would highly recommend this tour. Chris and Barbara are a delightful couple and excellent hosts on this tour. They are born and bred in small towns near Etna and are proud to share their heritage. We had a fantastic day with them on the tour and we were very pleased to meet real people making local products: Rosario the Hazelnut producer, Cinzia(?) making her daily batches of cheese, Salvatore with his olive oil and his encyclopedic knowledge of culinary plants, trees, vines and aromatics. At lunch we had a great selection of Sicilian meats, cheeses and dishes with local wine. The whole tour took place within sight of the smoking summit of mother Etna.A lovely food experience and a great day out
