I hired tour guides during my many foreign tours. This time around, returning to visit HK, where I was born, I wanted a different experience. I wanted to see HK through another perspective. My wonderful guide Lok Yan did just that. I believe we were both surprised and bewildered by some of the gems of HK. That could have been due to the fact that I was not one of the typical tourist looking to visit some of the FAMOUS attractions. That's not an easy task for the tour guide. The interactions enriched, grew and enriched my appreciation and admiration of this unique piece of land and its culture. Yan's attributes made it happened. To say friendly and warm would be an understatement. I feel totally comfortable with her throughout the entire abrieviated tour. I am convinced that I made the right choice in hiring Lok Yan. Such a fantastic tour!!! Circle gave me a great tour during Chinese New Year!! She was flexible and so entertaining and showed me very unique parts of Hong Kong - definitely book a tour w her - you’ll be so glad you did!!
