My name is Clau, I'm a versatile actress and translator-interpreter in English and French. I love performing arts, which is what I do when I have the time, working for two theater companies.

I have lived in Ireland, England, Canada and France. Once you have traveled that much you develop a sense of discovering places and look at them with a different approach as well as a great deal of empathy. Having some experience of touring in Santiago as a host with French couples I took an interesting course in interpreting Chilean cultural heritage which gave me some new tools on how to tell a story about a particular place or moment from what perspective in particular... it is so interesting the exchange of different views about the same point!

Finally, I live in the core area where Santiago was founded so I have some local tips to be shared!!! ;)

Claudia gave us a wonderful overview of Santiago. She was on time (very important 😃) and actually spent more time with us so that she could share more about her beautiful city with us. She is extremely knowledgeable, especially about the different architectures. She spoke excellent English and gave us a lot of information about the city and its history. From the moment we met we new we were in for a treat. Her in depth knowledge, the way she presented the historic magnitued of every thing we saw and the way in which she tailored it to our special interest, architecture was absolutely first class. If you want to see the historic sites in a leisurely and informative way Claudia is the guide for you - she even organised a comfort break for us half way through the tour.Claudia Star performence

Claudia spoke excellent English, was friendly and engaging and gave us a mahnifucent tour of central Santiago. We saw the main sights in and around the plaza de armas, all brought to life with vivid stories and local history. We were sorry the tour had to end. We only had one day in Santiago, hi oven that we are unlikely to get there again, wanted to make the most of it and 3 hours with Claudia was a great way to spend it. We had a great tour of the city and heard about the history of its found and development (and redevelopment after fires and earthquakes). We ended the day with the best sandwich (As Italiano) I have ever had in my life at Bar Torremolinos. A wonderful day out in Santiago.

We had a fascinating tour of the old centre of Santiago with Claudia. She spoke for the best part of 4 hours, covering all the major attractions, providing the historical background to the emergence of modern Chile. She was extremely knowledgeable and spoke our language fluently as well as being great company. She made sure that we knew where to go for our next visitor attraction- the funicular railway. I can't recommend this tour enough. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Claudia is a delightful person. She went out of her way to proceed with the tour after we got lost, missed the meeting point and turned up very late. Apart from being a lovely person, her tour is very well researched and presented... Thanks so much for an experience that showed us a totally different perspective of Santiago and Chile's history.A 5 Stars' Tour!
