Giovanni F. and Claudia

My husband works in a homemade pasta laboratory (he is the chef and I am a lucky woman!) and he is a football (soccer) coach; I worked for 20 years in computer companies and now I am working in Public Administration. In our free time, we take care of the city garden and we cook. I also play the saxophone in a band and I'm an urban cyclist. So you see, we do lots of activities!

Most of all, we love our city and its culinary traditions. The chef is my husband because he has a family cooking tradition, but I'm right next to him.

It was a great pleasure to have dinner at Claudias and Giovannis house. Hand made pasta and meatballs - absolutly wonderful. The conversation was fun, easy and so interesting. I really enjoyed my time with Giovanni and Claudia! The food was good and the company was better. I speak Italian and my wife doesn't and they seamlessly were able to handle transitioning between languages without having her feel left out. 10/10 would do it again.Wonderful Experience

we had a nice evening with this couple, Giovanni was the cook ! We had delicious Carbonara, chicken with sweet paprika and of course Tiramisu. We were the only guests, what makes that you are free to ask everything you want ! They were really nice and very helpfull. Thank you for the nice evening !Nice couple, fine evening

Claudia and Giovanni welcomed me into their home with open arms. It was very interesting to experience the process of making pasta by hand. Claudia and Giovanni shared their experiences of living in home and told lots of interesting anecdotes about cooking as well as their city. A very nice evening in an italian home

Claudia and Giovanni were absolutely delightful! He was so talented and very patient as he taught our family how to make homemade gnocchi while we talked about life in Rome, family, hobbies, etc. We then enjoyed a fabulous meal with great food, wine and company. I highly recommend making this a part of your time in Rome!Amazing dinner!

Claudia and Giovanni were such welcoming hosts and dinner was Amazing!! Homemade pasta, Chicken Cacciatore and Giovanni’s Tiramisu for dessert - and the wine was flowing! Do not pass up this truly Roman experience!Great experience, food and hosts!!

Claudia and Giovanni are such welcoming hosts and make visitors feel like friends. Giovanni's carbonara, flat meatballs (a Roman specialty!), and homemade tiramisu were delicious. They both were great conversationalists and Claudia took extra care to write down the locations of Caravaggio paintings I was curious about. Their love of travel and appreciation of those who travel makes for an especially great dinner time visit. Delicious food, wonderful company
