Giovanni F. and Claudia

My husband works in a homemade pasta laboratory (he is the chef and I am a lucky woman!) and he is a football (soccer) coach; I worked for 20 years in computer companies and now I am working in Public Administration. In our free time, we take care of the city garden and we cook. I also play the saxophone in a band and I'm an urban cyclist. So you see, we do lots of activities!

Most of all, we love our city and its culinary traditions. The chef is my husband because he has a family cooking tradition, but I'm right next to him.

We spent an evening with 2 lovely People. Cooking was the main reason for making this reservation, but it came out to be an evening with preparing and cooking pasta and learn a lot about this proces. Giovanni and Claudia are 2 proud Romans who love to tell about cooking, living and the life in Rome. They are 2 lovely people and we thank them so much for the lovely evening. Highly recommended. We had a wonderful evening with Giovanni and Claudia. The food was delicious and their hospitality warm and inviting. Conversation was lively and covered many topics. A wonderful way to spend the final evening of our stay in Greece! When considering this type of activity, make sure to factor in transport time/cost to and from the venue. As our hotel was in the central city, we took a taxi (most prefer cash, which we were not aware of: so needed to find a card accepting driver) This meant a 30 minute drive in rush hour traffic….Still very much worth the trip!

The meal we had at Claudia's and Giovanni F. was indeed very yummy 😋! The beginning entre, Carbonarra with sheep cheese was our favorite, while the beef was so very tender and flavorful, enjoyable for sure!Such a yummy meal while in Rome.

Giovanni and Claudia are lovely hosts. We had a delicious meal and great conversation! My 13 year old said making pasta with Giovanni was the highlight of her trip! Great people, great food!

It was nice to have a local experience on life in Rome with a beautiful couple . The food was very homely and fantastic. My kids who were shy in the beginning had a fun time as time passed and enjoyed the experience as well. The hosts went in good length to make our kids comfortable Great local experience

It was a great pleasure to have dinner at Claudias and Giovannis house. Hand made pasta and meatballs - absolutly wonderful. The conversation was fun, easy and so interesting. I really enjoyed my time with Giovanni and Claudia! The food was good and the company was better. I speak Italian and my wife doesn't and they seamlessly were able to handle transitioning between languages without having her feel left out. 10/10 would do it again.Wonderful Experience
