My family has lived in Bologna for generations, thus my city has no secrets for me ;)

I'm graduated in Interpreting & Translation and a licensed tour leader.

I love crossing the old town by bike from Casalecchio di Reno, where I live, to Bologna city centre following the canals.

I often hang out in Giardini Margherita and the Botanical Garden.

I'm passionate about old black and white pictures of Bologna and I like to bring some photographic book with me while exploring the city to discover how it changed.

I can't wait to share with you anecdotes, legends and stories about my city and make you feel how I fall in love with Bologna every time I'm planning a new tour!

Our host never showed. We took a train from Florence just to take the tour. We arrived on time but no host. We messaged and called the host. No response. No message. We called the company and they could not reach the host. The company would not refund us but would only “investigate”. So no tour. No refund. Wasted time and money. Frustrating. I will never use Withlocals again. Avoid at all costs

Had a wonderful time in Bologna with a guided tour on the first day, Claudia was very nice and enthousiastic to show us and tell us abou her city. Lots of tips about great restaurants, clubs and tourist sites, really enjoyed it and would highly recommend Claudia!Simply wonderful

Claudia was just great. Communication ahead of the tour was good. Very flexible and responsive to our needs, for example pointing out good places to eat if you are vegetarian. Knows the city well and we moved through it very efficiently, covering all the key areas of interest. Brava Claudia!Excellent intro to an amazing city

Claudia was very nice and the tour was nice. We came in the morning and were hungry, and expected to start the tour by drinking coffee and eat something (since it was a food tour), but it took some time until we had something to eat... Also it was sometimes difficult to hear and understand the explanations. Claudia was very considerate and made sure each one of us got what he likes to eat (a vegan alternative etc). Thanks!5

Claudia was an excellent showing us the markets and food stuffs that are particular to the region even the differences due to the aging process. After gathering all of our lunch we proceeded to the old restaurant in Bologna to sit and dine. What a treat. She also added a bit of history on our walk and pointed out places for gelato, pastries and dinner. Our family highly recommends Claudia. Sad that we say ciao to Bologna

We meet Claudia e inmediatamente feel very comfortable with her she was very informative and as we begin the tour early in the morning we tour a food market (Mercato Delle Erbe) and Claudia explained to us the different types of pasta as well as meats and their use, then as we proceed to the Quadrlatero she explained to us all the different sites and took us Inside one to show us their premises the tour was 3 hours and at each place Claudia explained to us what she was grabbing for us to eat. The tour finished with lunch at a wine local where you bring the food and they provide the wine ( it was the same place than Stanley Tucci went to eat on her tour of Bologna) then we move to the Jewish neighborhood and have a desert with coffe. Fabulous tour Claudia deserved 20 🌟

We had an amazing time strolling through Bologna with Claudia. We have learned and tasted everything we could in the city center. We were so stuffed that we took some of the sweet treats back to our apartment. And there it was, a third piece, a piece addressed to Claudia. You did deserve that third piece of ricecake and we are sorry. X Nick and Nicky...Claudia is awesome

Claudia was a very considerate and knowledgeable guide, she contacted us before the tour to enquire on our particular wishes and was very thorough in trying to respond to them! We had a wonderful time with Claudia!! She is super friendly and knows Bologna well. Not only did we eat but she also shared with us the history of Bologna and showed us some wonderful spots. The food she picked out for us was wonderful and very filling!! You will be stuffed!! Claudia is very accommodating and will go out of her way to take you where you would like and show you things you want to see. I would recommend her to anyone and would definitely book with her again! Wonderful tour of Bologna
