I'm 67 and I've played championship level chess, translated scores of books (history, art, humanities, essays, some literature), sung. I ride a bike through Athens since decades; I like learning new languages, modern and ancient.

I'm a licensed lecturer guide for all of Greece, a graduate of the Law Faculty (Department of Public Law and Political Science), Athens University (NKUA) and of the Faculty of Philology (Department of Linguistics), NKUA. My language skills have never disappointed anyone.

We had a fantastic tour of the Acropolis & Acropolis museum with Costas!! We went early at 8am & Costa paced everything perfectly so the children were both kep interested but not having to walk too fast in the heat. Costa has in depth knowledge of all Greek history & in particular mythology which our youngest is really interested in. He engaged with her all the way through the tour & she will never forget the experience. I would reckon Costa to everyone!!Fantastic tour

Our family had a wonderful tour of the Acropolis and museum with Costas. He was a brilliant guide, weaving together history, Greek myth and legend to bring alive the beautiful ancient temples, theatres and other buildings. Costas has a prodigious grasp of Athenian history and was a highly articulate and interesting guide, happy to answer any questions and keeping our children (aged between 9 and 16 years) engaged. Costas paced the tour very well, giving plenty of time to take in the buildings, ruins and views and always choosing a shaded spot as the heat of the day increased. At the Museum, Costas gave us a fantastic overview, carefully choosing an array of particularly interesting objects. We highly recommend Costas if you are looking for a guide who is very professional and has a wonderful and deep knowledge of Greek history, politics and myths. Costas really was able to bring the Acropolis alive for us! A wonderful way to explore the Acropolis!

Arranging the experience and meeting with Costas was really easy. Costas is friendly, approachable and very knowledgable…also has several languages under his belt! The tour of the museum was fascinating and we all learned a great deal. The walk up through the grounds, the information shared, the explanations offered from stories of the gods to how structures were created as we moved up to the Parthenon. Truly amazing, thank you! Costas was quick in his responses to my questions before arrival. Made it very clear how/when to book our entry tickets and was able to adjust timing as our plans changed. The tour itself was very enjoyable. His knowledge of the history of Athens and the Acropolis was vast but we never felt lectured to. He made the stories interesting while still being educational. He was very personable. Perfect guide for history enthusiasts.

Costa was great and very informed about the area and its surroundings. It was nice to purchase the tickets in advance, skip a bunch of the lines, and see more of Athens. It was a great tour with a lot of great information. Excellent tour and well informed.

Costas was very easy to communicate with before the tour; he met us promptly at our prearranged meeting point. The tour of the Acropolis included an initial 2hrs in the Acropolis Museum, during which Costas took us through the history of the site and proved to be incredibly well informed on every aspect; he then took us up on to the slopes of the Acropolis for an hour to show us the real thing. Both parts of the tour knitted together perfectly and we left with a feeling that we had been fully immersed in Greek and Athenian history. Thank you Costas Great tour if the Acropolis
