My name is Dana, fully certified Prague guide. I was born and raised in Prague. Sample kid of 80´s. Born in communism, living in democracy. When the regime changed in 1989, I was already 8.

Most of my life I have been breathing this local Prague air. However, I also spent some time abroad and have been traveling extensively. Besides the Czech Republic, my second homes are Canada and Norway where I used to live.

I am no way involved in the local heavy tourism which I find really sick sometimes.

I am an independent individual who enjoys personable approach and quality over quantity. My everyday goal is to show you hometown through the eyes of Prague resident. In a less touristy way and with respect to amazing Prague genius loci.

Before I started to work as a guide, I was many years working in PR, advertising and social media field.

I also completed my full certification in 2010 to become official Prague guide.

We were so blessed to have had Dana as our personal guide! Dana is passionate about Prague, and equally knowledgeable about the city to deliver an experience that far exceeded our expectations. My wife commented about how Dana was always smiling, and the stories and unique perspectives that only a true local would know kept us captivated for the entire 3+ hours that seemed to fly by. My favorites were the the flood prevention wall markers along the river, and the poignant square street plaques noting the homes of Czech holocaust victims. We are deeply grateful for Dana’s guidance during our tour, and the many recommendations that she provided so that we can enjoy the rest of our Prague adventure. Thank you Dana! Dana was the absolute perfect person to introduce us to Prague. We spent a wonderful 3 hours plus with Dana and even though we covered most of the top 10 tourist spots that wasnt the main focus of the tour. We captured the main sites whilst being treated to a behind the scenes locals view of this wonderful city. Dana is highly knowledgeable and passionate about about her city. We got the inside scoop on places to eat, drink and the best views of the city without the big crowds. I cannot recommend Dana highly enough. Dana was amazing and very caring. She showed all the best spots in Prague and it easy to tell that she is very passionate about her role as a guide and the city of Prague. If you are looking for the REAL prague, I recommend Dana! Amazing!

Our group came to Prague for the first time and we wanted a local guide who would tell us a little about this wonderful city... its history. Dana organized a 3 hour old town tour for us. She told us a little bit of history, we visited a local pub, we tasted local national food and of course, beer tasting :) Dana is very friendly, cheerful and sincere person, ready to help and answer all questions. We really liked it and highly recommend !Highly recommend!

Dana provided a great tour of Prague with 12 of our rowdy family. She is very knowledgeable of the area and took us to a blend of popular tourist attractions but also some of the better "off the path" areas to give us a real taste of the Prague community. She shared a couple of meals with us and fit in just like family. Would recommend her to anyone who had an interest in learning more about the area and culture.Dana Knows Her Stuff

Dana was incredible in dealing with my attention-deficient American family. She was incredibly flexible and, at the same time, still gave a grand tour of exciting places off the beaten path interspersed with pit stops. Great mixture of old and contemporary PraguePrague thru the backroads

Would definitely book another tour with Dana. We were a family group of 12. She held out interest with very informative bits of pieces of Pragues history. She kept us away from crowded streets but were still able to enjoy all the beautiful sites of the city. We made a few stops in local watering holes that weren't touristy. There were a total of 11 people on Dana's tour. We all really enjoyed the day. She was very well prepared and informative. Anytime we had a question she was happy to stop and discuss. I would say Dana went above and beyond what was expected of her that day. The tour was longer than scheduled and she would not accept a tip for the extra time.
