I live in Naples. I was born here and after a long experience in tourism and traveling I became a licensed tour guide. It isn't enough just to have a license, it is necessary to have a deep passion for this job.

Among several experiences I made along my career I want to tell you about an emblematic one. One day I was working and a stranger stopped and asked me: "Are you a tour guide"? I answered: "Yes I am". Then he said: "Remember that all the travellers will see our land through your eyes". Since that moment my mission became to give all of my clients the possibility to see, read, feel and understand the beauty of my land.

Many foreign people think that Naples and its surroundings are only Pizza and mandolins, but they are so much more than this. The gulf of Naples was civilized around 3000 thousand years ago, it is a marvellous and complex mix of history, art, architecture, culture, nature, traditions and humanity. That's why if you want to have an idea of my country, I suggest you take one of my tours.

Following the Neapolitan tradition, I will welcome you and make you feel at home. My purpose is taking you to discover my country, so that it can give you a memorable life experience.

About me:

I graduated in economics and high school in tourism reception. Along my education I always cultivated my great interest for art, history and archaeology and as Naples is very rich on this point of view, I am still studying them. I have acquired many job experiences in hotels, tour operator, travel agency and cruises. My passion is to travel. Thanks to my job on the cruise as the Tour Manager assistant I visited most of the Mediterranean countries. In Europe I visited many important capitals such as Madrid, Lisbon, London, Amsterdam, Paris and Prague. I lived in Great Britain for a year and in South America for several years. I travelled to Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago.

I speak fluent English and Spanish, both languages with level C2 international certification.

Darío was our guide for our morning tour of the best local sights in the historic district of Napoli. He was kind, engaging, and very knowledgeable about all things Napolitano. Once he learned of our desire to taste some of the best local foods he quickly and eagerly customized our tour. He took us to some fantastic local food markets where we sampled fresh mozzarella and tomatoes. He also took us to a local coffee shop where his grandfather would take him when he was a boy. Later, he took my wife and I to have some of the best espresso I have ever tasted. During the entire tour he taught us about the history and culture of his great city from the ancient Greek, French, and English influences to the passion and reverence of the city toward Diego Maradona and their local football club. We booked our private guide Dario for Naples with withlocals and I definitely recommend it. The booking is super easy, we made fast contact with our guide and made an appointment with him. Dario is a fantastic guide. Not only did we learn a lot about Naples and the history of this place but also Dario was very kind and took care of us extremley well, paying attention to the traffic in Naples which is alittle bit chaotic sometimes. We felt safe with him and apprecited his company a lot. If we go back to Naples, we will definitely want Dario to be our guide again.We loved our visit with ourprivate guide.

we very much enjoyed our private tour with Dario. He was charming and offered great insights into the daily lives of the Romans. We avoided the massive tour packs and had a personalized experience.
