Dear visitors, my name is Darko, I've been in love with Croatia since the first day of my life and my goal is to pass that love to You.

I was born and raised in Split, pearl of the Mediterranean sea and since forever I am fascinated by history, culture and nature. At the beginning of my career I worked in Croatian national theater and in Split city museum as an official tour guide and that experience with knowledge I got from my older colleagues helped me a lot and gave me a big impulse in becoming freelancer.

Today my full time job is producer of cultural events but my true passion is tour guiding.

As I am scuba diver, hiker and big fan of football, I incorporate all those hobbies and knowledge in my tours.

Darko is great. He is very knowledgeable of the area and history associated with it. He is fluent in English and easy to understand. When we come back to Croatia we will definitely book another tour with him. Highly recommend. Amazing day!

Our flight was delayed by 4 hours so we missed our tour with Darko. He was kind enough to fit us in the next day. He is a true local who is super knowledgeable. We are so appreciative that he made the time for us as we left with such an appreciation of Split, the history and the culture. Thank you Darko! Darko was a delight!

Darko gave us a wonderful tour of the caves, which is highly recommended and not accessible by the bus tours. We almost had the caves to ourselves and it was breathtaking and so serene. Also a nice tour of the fortress followed by a taste of Split. Wonderful time. Excellent tour highly recommended guide

De tour hadden we veel meer van verwacht. Voor het grote bedrag wat we hebben betaald waren we niet 3 uur maar 2 uur bezig. Hij was veel sneller klaar. Daarnaast was het niet 10 verschillende hapjes en of drankjes die we hebben gehad, maar minder. En maar 1 drankje en voor de rest wat hapjes, waarvan er ook een stukje chocola bij zat. Wij hadden hele andere verwachtingen bij dit bedrag. Darko kan leuk vertellen dat wel, maar wij hadden het gevoel dat er meer inzat voor zo’n groot bedrag en dat nu niet is geleverd. Oke maar niet fantastisch

Had such a great time with Darko doing a food tour our first night in Split. I picked him for our tour because we had multiple similar interests and he did not disappoint! He had a deep knowledge of the history and culture of the area. All of the foods/restaurants he chose for us were really great. A perfect intro to the city. Would absolutely do another tour with him!Loved learning about Split

Extremely enjoyable, interesting, and informative tour with Darko. He is very knowledgeable about the history surrounding the Diocletian palace. His stories and commentary about the palace, history of Croatia and the Dalmatian coast were fascinating and the time went by in a flash. Krka tour with a Trogir stop. Great recommendation for lunch in Trogir. We got into the park with Darko’s discount and saved us a few € each. He was very good at keeping us up to date on plans. And treated us to a yummy rafioli pastry. Krka tour

Darko met us down by the waterfront and walked us all over old Split to see the highlights. He has an excellent background and is very knowledgable about the ancient and modern history of Split and Croatia. At our request, he talked about the GOT sites and took us to the synagogue. We stopped at a traditional bakery for a cannoli. We enjoyed our tour! It was just a group of four family members and we appreciated Darko's time and attention, which we would not have received in a large tour.Great tour with Darko
