Hi there! Nice to meet you

David

David is a Fully Qualified & Accredited Failte Ireland Tour Guide and a Registered Member of The Approved Tourist Guides of Ireland (ATGI) which is Ireland’s Officially Recognised Organisation for Highly Trained & Certified Guides.

Hi There, I’m David and I’ve been Guiding Friends, Family & Guests around Dear Old Lovely Dublin, as I like to call it, for many years.

I Love Stories & The Art of Storytelling, including the History of all things. In particular this ancient city of ours called Dublin. I’ve also kissed the infamous Blarney Stone Three Times, so that means I’m a talker 😊

Even If its your first or second time coming to Dublin you’ll always be made welcome and there’ll always be an abundance of new and wonderful experiences to be had.

So, not sure what to do or see, where to eat or drink, how to navigate the city, or seek out those lesser known places & treasure treats that most visitors miss while they’re here?

Then Come with me and I’ll show you the Wonderful Sights, Magic & Hidden Gems that make up our Great City, while at the same time entertaining you with some of its wonderful Tall Tales & Stories.

I Look forward to seeing you then.

Best Regards

David.

David has kissed the Blarney Stone 3 times and has been granted the Gift of Gab! He is so excited and enthusiastic to share his knowledge of Dublin/Ireland. We had a great walking tour with him and learned a lot. Pick him if you want someone full of energy and passionate about sharing stories about his country! The gift of gab!

Look no further, David is a magnificent guide, We were a group of four -two with walking difficulties. We walked the City while David spoke of the history of the City and Country. He was knowledgeable and fascinating. The time flew by and we learned so much. David was very kind to our slow pace. We felt we made a good friend. He also provided recommendations for restaurants and other sights to explore. I highly recommend David .Terrific tour

We touched down in Dublin just before lunchtime after 29 hours of travel from Sydney, and our recipe for avoiding jet lag is to stay awake until at least the early evening. We usually achieve with some brisk walking around our destination, which also helps us get our bearings. Since our time in Ireland is not quite as long as we’d like, we decided to kill two (or is it three?) birds with the one stone by taking a guided walking tour on that first afternoon. We chose David from the list of guide profiles as he seemed the best fit for us, and we couldn’t have been happier. David has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Irish history in general and Dublin’s history in particular, which he drew upon (along with songs and anecdotes tailored to our interests) to weave a fascinating story over several hours that went well beyond anything we could have gleaned from our own research. All of this and a solid introduction to the layout of Dublin - and enough walking to keep us awake until a reasonable time!Engaging intro to Dublin and its history

As soon as we flew into Ireland we dropped off our luggage and met David at our hotel. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable but he was also kind. That's a great combination for me! We got a great overview of Dublin and suggestions for next steps in order to enhance our understanding and enjoyment of the Emerald Isle. Thank you, David!Great way to start my trip to Ireland!

We had a great tour with David who showed us the best of Dublin but not least exhibited energy and charm and strong commitment to the Irish history. We got a deep understanding of the history of the people and the hardships they had to endure, famine, war, uprising etc. At the same time, we shared happy moments and good laughs. One highlight being David’s singing of “The Green Fields of France” in the middle of a busy street. The singing local guide

I had an amazing experience with David. He really knows his stuff. I asked for a more feminist history of the town and he showed me some spots that were catered to my interests. We explored a few touristy areas, but David had many stories of specific locations that the average guide probably would not have bought up. David seemed genuinely concerned about making all aspects of my stay in Dublin as safe, comfortable and meaningful as possible. Highly informative and fun
