I am a graphic and industrial designer, born and bred in Lisbon, half german, quarter ucranian and quarter portuguese (to simplify!). Curiously, I don't speak ucranian. But try me out in german, english or french. Lisbon is my city; I love it, with all its faults and scars, and wouldn't trade it for any city in the world (except, maybe, Cologne, but that's a completely different story; ask me, if we ever meet!).

Even if we don't meet, here's a first hot tip about Lisbon: when flying to Lisbon, ALWAYS ask for a window seat on the left side of the plane.

Ich bin.mit zwei Teenagerbuben nach Lissabon gekommen. Sogar diese waren am Schluss der dreistündigen Führung mit David sehr zufrieden und wir fanden einhellig, dass sich das 100 Prozent gelohnt hat, die Führung mit David zu buchen. Für mich war die Orientierung am ersten Tag eher schwierig in Lissabon. David schuf einen guten Überblick und wusste zu jedem Stadtviertel Charakteristisches zu erzählen. Und er hatte viel Geduld für unsere Snack- und Gelatostopps. Zusätzlich gab er uns diverse Tipps mit auf den Heimweg für die kommenden Ferientage in Lissabon. Herzlichen Dank an David! We had a fantastic experience on our food tour in Lisbon with David as our guide. He is very knowledgeable and made the entire tour both fun and informative. We explored interesting local spots, tasted delicious Portuguese specialties, and learned so much about the city's history, culture, and food traditions along the way. We enjoyed a very sunny afternoon tour with David and learned more about Lisbon as well as discovering places that we wouldn’t otherwise have visited. As we walked through Lisbon, David was chock full of fascinating bits of information about the city and its history. He made the story of Lisbon come alive! In addition, he provided excellent (as it turned out) tips on where to go and what to skip, how best to avoid crowds and line-ups, and how to get around. Last but not least, he provided a coffee break when it was needed. The whole experience was first rate. One of the best tours we’ve ever taken
