Hi there! Nice to meet you

My name is Gede Nopi. I graduated from the Tourism Faculty of Udayana University in Bali, and since 2011 I have worked as a driver and guide in Bali.

I grew up in a small rural village in the Kintamani region, where there are beautiful landscapes including mountains; volcanoes; hills and lakes.

The reason why I choose to be a guide is that I want to invite tourist to experience the original authenticity of our traditions, our nature, and of socio-cultural life.

I really love nature, there are several reasons why this is so :

1. Because all the beauty makes your mind feel refreshed. fresh air also makes your burdens feel like they are lifted away when you take in a deep breath.

2. From the natural beauty, we can learn to be thankful and appreciate all the creatures of the Almighty, for his majesty in creating extraordinary beauties on our mother earth. and,

3. Because the natural world makes you believe and witness that human beings and nature can coexist in harmony.

I couldn’t be more grateful to De Nopi for showing me Bali, his culture, the nature and being so flexible on customising the excursion exactly how I wanted. Sadly, I had only 1 day to visit Bali because I work on a ship, so the time was a real challenge. The great side is that I had De Nopi as my guide. He is experienced, he knows very well where he is going, a good driver and overall a great company! He organised and managed everything without me having to worry about anything. What a great day! We were with De Nopi twice while in Bali. First, was a really fun full day tour. We visited great local places, such as a batik shop, silver jewelry store, wood carving studio, coffee plantation, rice fields and all over the beautiful countryside. De Nopi delivered us to our hotel, and a few days later, he took us to the airport. He was informative, fun, eager to share and punctual. An amazing, unforgettable day. Thank you, De Nopi!!De Nopi was excellent!!!

The walking tour was a really great experience. De Nopi is a very kind, pleasant person - and very knowledgeable of history and nature as well as able discussing interesting cultural aspects and concepts. The tour was predefined and included some interesting stops - it could be a bit expanded though to cover more topics between the stops.Great guide - the tour could be developed

We didn’t have any firm plans for our 5-hours with De Nopi and he did not disappoint. Upon picking us up at our villa, we let him know what we had already seen/done and asked for suggestions. He took us on a fabulous day of art, coffee, butterflies and waterfalls. Could not have asked for a better day!!Great day-trip!

We would like to thank Nopi for a very nice day in Ubud. He has done his best to accommodate our wishes, took us to Rice Fields, Luak Coffee place, for an amazing lunch at Hanging Gardens Bali, to Sebatu Temple and Ubud town. Nopi speaks very good English, he is very knowledgeable in Bali tradition and history. He kept us entertained with the story, and explaining thigs to us. He has always made sure that we enjoy our trip and was helpful in every situation. It was an amazing day and we would highly recommend Nopi to all tourist visiting Bali.Spiritual day in Ubud

I had the pleasure of having Nopi as my tour guide. Nopi took me on a day trip from Seminyak, which is where I was staying, to Ubud. He selected some off the beaten path sites based on my request, told me a lot about the history and culture of the things we saw, and kept me entertained during the long car journey. He was enthusiastic, and personable, and kept us going throughout the day. Well done! Great tour guide - much recommended

What a great experience to be taken around by De Nopi and introduced to Balinese culture, traditions, customs and nature! Before starting the trip, the communication exchange was very good. I received all the info I needed. For our tour, he was punctual, informative and showed hidden gems along the way. His driving and presence are calming despite the intense traffic jams! If I ever go back again to Bali, I would be sure to connect with De Nopi for an extended tour to see many more hidden gems he mentioned! Great timeDe Nopi: the host with the most!

I give lots of stars to our very nice guide. Unfortunately the tour itself was disappointing and definitely not the image I have of Bali. Time would have been better spent on a nature hike or ocean activity. The town itself I did not find a highlight. We asked De Nopi to take us to a nearby coffee farm interpretive center and that ended up being the highlight. Great guide, but tour not worth it
