Had a very unique evening with Denys. It was a real laugh at the same time. Would really recommend to anyone wanting a genuine local experience. Denys is very genuine person and has a keen interest in the English language and meeting people. Thanks for sharing your city with me. Great night out in Jogja

It is evident that Denys is just doing the tours to learn more about the world and make sure people better understand the locals - he has a full-time job, and had a very late night at the office, but still made time to take me out for a tour after he was finally done with his work. It was super fun. Thank you, highly recommended!Friendly and insightful

We had a great time with Denys and his friend. It was an interesting but relaxed evening out. For us, the motorbike ride to Bukit Bintang was quite exciting and the view, once there, breathtaking! Really something we can recommend.Enjoy a Fun Local Evening in Yogya!

This evening with Dennys and his friend was great! We didn't really know exactly what to expect but everything he promises is real: You really get to see something that isn't in the guidebooks and is part of real Yogyakarta Life... The ending at the bar on the hill might be a long drive, but is so very much worth it- the view over Yogyakarta is mesmerizing, the atmosphere there, ... This is the thing all us travellers are looking for ;) Oh, and Dennys is a really nice, trustworthy guy! Thanks again! Saar & WardEnjoy a Fun Local Evening in Yogya!

Denys was nice and he accepted my booking even though I booked quite last minute on that day itself! Great guy to talk to with a lot of stories. He brought me to eat a yogyakarta food, Gudeg and then he brought me to play this blindfolding game and after that we tried a dessert, wudeg. The place is nice to chill and people-watch. He then brought me to bukit bintang to eat a very very deliciously roasted corn. I love that place it was beautiful to see a the whole yogyakarta at night. Its really recommended as you get to watch and hang out at the places where locals usually go.Enjoy a Fun Local Evening in Yogya!

In the late afternoon Denys and I leave by motorbike for a mountain trip on the slopes of Gunung Kidul. Around 17:30 arriving at a hillside Warung a fresh coconut drink is served. While sipping the cool coconut water, the sun sets in various colours turning the landscape into a breathtaking glowing world. Due to a full moon the volcanos Sumbing and Merapi appear clear at the horizon. Since the equator is just within a stone's throw, daylight has gone in a trice changing all wonderful colours into a pitch-black sky wherein millions of stars emerge. In darkness we drive back down to Yogja and visit the Alun2 Kidul (Southern Town Square). Blindfolded I am turned around a couple of times then be left as a blind man to find my way right across two giant holy trees just in the middle of the Town Square. Not easy to do so, for many struggle and find themselves stray off far away from the target only hearing laughter behind. After roaming the desert Denys invites me for a warm drink. The local Wedang Ronde taste delicious, whilst funny imitation cars cross the Square. At the end we take a trip in such a colourful lit pushbike car and cycle through the night.Enjoy a Fun Local Evening in Yogya!
